It all started with an Apron Making Contest

In 2008 I was an enthusiastic intermediate level sewer and quilter who had burned through tons of fabric as well as a few inexpensive sewing machines on my passion of sewing. I was doing research on new sewing machines of higher quality and I came across BERNINA models. I really coveted a new BERNINA machine as I wanted something to last years and years and be a true partner in the journey I was on. I noticed that they were partnering with Burdastyle to hold an apron making contest, and the first prize was a brand new BERNINA ACTIVA 210 sewing machine. I was hooked and spent weeks planning the perfect apron. The atomicapron was born and low and behold it won first prize in the contest and my relationship with BERNINA began. Fast forward to 2015 and I have continued my relationship with BERNINA, I am now a brand ambassador and sew on a 750QE which is my dream machine, (though I still love and use my Activa 210) and I just published my first book with Martingale called "Free Motion Quilting for Beginners and those who think they can't" My specialty has moved from aprons to quilting, but I have a stock of these atomicaprons left and I have decided to make them available as long as they last. I won't be making more to sell so get these while they last. Thanks for stopping by my shop!

My idea for an apron sure has come all way from a pile a quilt scraps, and it's only really beginning now. My aprons are designed to be a fancy hostess aprons. They are pretty and feminine because I firmly believe you have the right to look good while making a roast or washing the dishes! Sure you might find other designs out there that are more utilitarian in nature, but do they have an Obi belt or a kick pleat? Kick Pleats are what every woman needs and deserves while making pancakes! Maybe you're not a domestic goddess yourself, chances are you know someone who is, and I am willing to bet they deserve a pretty apron! So think of Atomic Aprons next time you are invited to a dinner party, or have to give a bridal party or birthday gift! If you have any questions, please convo me and I will promptly reply.
