Hey there, my name is Sayra. I love wool! I started out in the early 90's with a handcrafted hat company. Dyeing, the straw and silk. Making pretty hats, along the way. I did many craft, and street shows, connecting with people and selling over the years. My love of color, and making let me to felting. Which, turned into handspinning yarns. Making is a true joy, I disappear into the colors and making magic.
Dyeing, is a language for me. My colorways are strong, vibrant and full of feeling. I love the repetitive song that is dyeing fibers, carding batts and, hand painting yarns. Making fiber supplies, is a true joy! I maintain, a vibrant little studio in the woods of North Idaho. I knit, garden, enjoying the simple aspects of nature, and walking in the woods. I also enjoy hanging out with my family, and seven adopted cats.

I use First Class mail, for everything under 16oz
I ship worldwide, using Pirate Ship's simple flat rate. Packages are taking 1-2 weeks currently to arrive.
All packages, have tracking.
Duty/import taxes
They are the responsibility, of the customer. Please be advised, they are random.

I use eco friendly packaging. Recycled plastic, only.
Reserved items are held for 3 days.
My batts, are marked if they felt in the descriptions. Superwash, means the fibers will not felt. I recommend to handwash everything.
Roving can be 12-20 feet long depending on fiber! You can make a lot of yarn, with 4 oz of roving-depending how you spin it
I take pride, in very clean wool. I source covered fleeces, that are low in VM (vegetable material). I pick out any visible VM. Some micro VM may fall out as you spin.
I do not over process my wool. Some batts, have a hint of lanolin-which is very nice when spinning.
Everything is responsibly sourced. I prefer, local wool.
I ship worldwide.

I welcome custom orders. Details, will be discussed via convo. Order, will not be listed until it is completed,and agreed upon.
I do not offer yarn winding service. Swifts, and inexpensive ball winders are available here on Etsy.
General:
I use pro acid dyes. Acid? A low acid fixer, is used to lick in my colors. I use food grade citric acid, the same good stuff used in canned goods.
I strive to capture my colors accurately. Screens, may vary.
