Finding a creative outlet for my vast collection of fabulous fabrics!

My Story:

I've been sewing since I was about 8, way back in the 1960's! I started making little outfits for myself with a needle and thread. When my mom got a Singer sewing machine that same year, I started learning to sew like a "big girl". All through junior and senior high, in the 70s, I took sewing and costume design classes. Sewing was such fun...although it didn't keep me off the streets! ;)

Always feeling a need to create things I took many art courses in college and beyond.

I used to do something special and unique with terra cotta pots, fabric, paint and polyurethane. (My pots shop here is SunstrokeStudio.com ) I sold my pots at craft fairs across the country for 10 years and had a wonderful time!

But, the lure of retro barkcloth, both vintage and reproduction, became a huge collection and then a business idea...

I began making purses with my retro fabrics in 2008. I sold them on etsy and did a nice business. (AtomicLivin.com)
Then, one day, I got an email from a brilliant someone who suggested I make pillows.What a great idea! Several wonderful years later, things are moving along beautifully. You can now choose from almost 200 styles of covers in multiple sizes, as well as some pretty neat tile coasters with my fabulous fabrics on them!
As I increase my fabric collection regularly, expect to see more patterns emerge.

I'm enjoying sewing for all of my wonderful customers and deeply appreciate the fact that people are happy to have what I make in their homes and businesses. What a feeling! :)

I am a perfectionist, so you'll only get a product that I would be pleased to display and enjoy in my own home. No cutting corners here!

Please Note: Excess shipping costs, over $1, for combined purchases will be refunded to your payment source after your shipping label is printed.

I now use Etsy's Calculated Shipping app, but, for purchases not made at the same time, you will be charged shipping for each individual purchase. No worries. I refund the difference paid between actual shipping cost and what you paid, after I have your package ready to go.
