It started way back in high school.

My passion for the graphic design and print industry started with my high school yearbook. Late hours to meet yearbook deadlines quickly transitioned into college deadlines. I went to study at Clemson University. In 2009, I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Graphic Communications and a minor in Communications with a concentration in Advertising.

After college, I discovered that I often couldn't provide the customer service that I expected of myself while working for larger print houses. So, in 2012, Atwater Graphics Studio began to come to life with the intention of providing the customer service my clients deserved. In 2015, I got engaged and saw the astronomical cost of wedding invitations and printing. Being a budget bride while working in design and printing, I did what anyone else would do– I DIY'ed my invitations. Then, I thought: why not share my skills with others in my shoes?

So, after a few years of growing, today I still provide graphic design and print services for other small businesses as well as providing affordable stationery options for celebrants wanting a full service invitation experience or DIY! While I'm based in Charleston, South Carolina, I still ship all over the world! Ultimately, Atwater Graphics Studio has given me the opportunity to work with amazing clients, designing and printing the things that I love!

    I need someone else to create the wax and engraved stamps for me to then create the wax seals. On occasion, some custom seals (e.g. logos, custom monograms, etc.) require assistance from a production company for seal production.

    While we create some items by hand, some items need precision. Envelopes and some die-cutting should be left up to the big guys with those fancy machines.

    Some products are 100% handmade in my studio. While for other items to truly pop, they require precision and quality that only a large printing press can provide. Those printing presses won't quite fit inside my small studio!

What is the turn-around time?

• Studio Hours are Mon. - Fri., 10am - 5pm EST. I'm closed for major US holidays. Holiday hours will be noted in the Shop Announcements.
• Artwork/Proof: Sent in 1-2 business days of receiving your customization details.
• Final Digital/Printable Files: 1-3 business days after proof approval.
• Printed Items: Depends on the order, but usually 3-10 business days. For specific time frames, please see the item(s) you’re interested in purchasing or contact me.
→ Rush Add-On’s available. Please contact me to get started: Anytime I can accommodate a rush without a fee, I will!

I approved my order, but need to make a change. What now?

PRINTED ITEMS: If you have a problem with a printed product, contact me immediately via Etsy or email,

I will do everything I can to halt the production of your printed project and make the appropriate changes. For additional details, please see the cancellation/refund/exchange policy for printed orders (below).

DIGITAL ITEMS: You have 3 business days after the final files are delivered to make additional changes. These changes are subject to the 3 revisions included in orders. If you have already used all revisions or request revisions after 3 business days, please contact me. Generally, additional edits are $5 per edit.

Proofing Policy and Printing Color

All approved proofs will be printed as they are approved.

→ If approval is not provided within 3 business days, I reserve the right to cancel OR print as-is (no returns/cancellations for as-is printing). It is ultimately the buyer’s responsibility to review the proof for any errors.

Please review your order closely especially for:
• Spelling/Grammar
• Names
• Locations/Addresses
• Phone Numbers/Websites
• Dates
• Times
• Paper Type, Texture, or Size: Ask me if you aren't sure.
• Color: Color can vary greatly. Please review proofs on a computer for the closest accuracy, or contact me for a swatch. There are no refunds for color discrepancies.

PRINTED/PHYSICAL ITEMS: Cancellation/refund/exchange policy

If you have a problem with a printed product, contact me immediately via Etsy or email,

• Orders can be canceled up to 6 hours after purchase or until a proof is provided.
The proof has been provided/not yet approved: Contact me. In most cases, I can cancel printing and provide a credit/exchange or partial refund.

• The proof is approved/printed: Due to the custom nature of my work, generally orders cannot be canceled/returned/exchanged.
• For *non-custom* unaltered items such as envelopes, contact me within 30 days of receiving your item. Items may be eligible for shop credit after receipt of return. Shipping costs are covered by the buyer.

DIGITAL ITEMS: Cancellation/refund/exchange policy

Digital orders can be canceled up to 6 hours after purchase or until a proof is provided.

• If the proof has been provided, but you haven't approved the proof: Contact me. While I cannot guarantee cancellation after a proof is provided, I will do everything I can to work with you to find a satisfactory resolution.

• If the proof is approved and/or final files have been provided: Due to the custom nature of my work, I cannot cancel/refund/exchange the order. Regardless, always contact me. Sometimes changes to the file will resolve the problem or another solution is available.

Can I share or edit my files?

When purchasing from Atwater Graphics Studio/Samantha Sara, LLC/it's owner(s), you agree that you will not use items commercially: sell, print*, copy, alter, download*, or otherwise reproduce any part of our artwork without specific written consent. *Digital file purchases allow permission for personal printing and downloading only.

Samantha Sara, LLC DBA Atwater Graphics Studio has sole ownership and rights over designs produced by us herein. We may use open source or purchased items within our designs. These items may not be sold, altered, copied, printed, downloaded, or otherwise reproduced in a manner not compliant with those items. We are not responsible for misuse and lack of permissions of outside files used within our designs.

I lost my files or need more prints! What should I do?

I guarantee your files will remain available for up to one year after purchase. After a year, I will likely still have your files archived. Due to the effort to pull these files from digital storage, a fee may be required. For additional questions or for replacement files, please contact me.

For additional prints, contact me. I will see what options are available for small quantity prints or if a new order is required.

My Guarantee

I started Atwater Graphics Studio as a way to provide the customer service that I couldn't ensure when I worked in a large print house. I want your design and print to be as perfect as you do, because I truly love what I do. I will put in the time and effort to make sure you're happy with your purchase.

For custom printing, I go beyond what many designers will when proofing. I will check your proof for spelling and information errors like websites or phone numbers (although the final review is still up to the buyer). In the event that I make an error, I will correct your order as soon as possible at no cost to you.

I cannot start custom orders until I have your information. Common items I need are listed below.

How do revisions or edits work?

Three basic edits are included with all orders. Additional edits or large edits may result in additional charges. When adding customizations, the customizations may count as an edit. I will always tell you about additional charges prior to starting the work.
