4 out of 5 starsGave this to my fiancé - favorite Tom Petty album. We both love it!! A bigger size would be "better" for a single ornament for a key chain. 🔑 Just a suggestion...still love it!

5 out of 5 starsThis keychain is beautiful. I love the metal and the font used for the lyrics. I gave this as a gift to someone and the recipient was so touched by the sentimentality and simple elegance of it.

Metal stamping

After etching a copper design, I soldered it to a second copper layer that I hammered for a rustic texture.

An example of cutting a shape in metal using my jeweler's saw and the piercing method.
in pursuit of my passion...
We're all inspired and motivated by something. My faith in God, my love of travel and my free-spirited soul serve as the inspiration for the designs I create. Each piece you see here is created from the heart, knowing it will be worn and appreciated by special people like you. It brings me such joy to hear feedback from my customers about how much they love their new piece of jewelry.
A little about me...I'm a Tennessee girl, born and raised. I've always love to create and for many years nurtured my creativity through photography and watercolor. But it wasn't until I began designing jewelry that I finally found my passion and it changed my life.
I am a self-taught jewelry artist driven by a desire to learn new skills. I love working with metal, particularly copper because of its warmth and earthiness. I especially enjoy mixing metals together.
For most of my life, I worked in the corporate world. In 2013, I found myself out of a job due to downsizing. At first I was worried, but soon realized how much I enjoy creating jewelry and decided to pursue it full time. And I've never been happier. Now my days are spent in my studio stamping, sawing and soldering, occasionally stealing away for puppy dog kisses from my fur baby, Mojo.
Thank you for your interest in my jewelry. Take your time...look around. I want your shopping experience here to be fun and memorable. I value your business and would love for A Twist of Whimsy to be the place you turn to when you're looking for that special gift of jewelry or a piece to brighten your own life.
I take great pride in my customer service. If you have any questions before or after your purchase, please contact me.
Blessings,
Gayle

Frequently asked questions
Can you stamp on both sides?
I use 22 gauge metal which leaves a slight impression on the back side when stamping. To accommodate requests for double sided stamping, I can solder a second piece to the back for an additional charge. Please contact me for more information.
Will copper discolor my skin?
Each of my copper pieces have a protective coating to prevent tarnishing and skin discoloration.
Can I substitute sterling silver for copper?
Yes, for most of my designs. Please contact me for more information.
