Le Kirigami, un art du papier venu du Japon
Cousin de l'origami, le kirigami est un art japonais qui consiste à découper le papier (en japonais, "kiru" signifie "couper", "kami" ou "gami" = "papier") pour laisser apparaître un motif. Bien que traditionnellement cette technique se veut découpée dans une seule et même feuille de papier, je prends plaisir à l'appliquer sur plusieurs feuilles. Découpées et superposées, ces couches de papier, de même couleur ou de couleur différente, créent un motif en relief tout en jouant avec ombre et lumière.
Toutes mes créations sont des œuvres originale dessinées par moi et découpées entièrement à la main dans mon atelier.
