Fashion or steampunk outfit, Playa wear, everyday accessories with a kick, bold streetwear, or just a unique finish to a stylish look, it's all up to the wearer. Audra Jean is the San Francisco-based design team of Audi and Mark, who design unique leather accessories that range in style from equestrian to bondage-inspired. Mark is a leather worker who makes all the items by hand; unique and fashionable leather belts and harnesses for streetwear, Burning Man, Steampunk, Victorian or Edwardian costume wear, or anything else you can dream up. Items can be customized if you're looking for something specific, or we can create a piece to fit a particular need, so please inquire.

Many of our pieces can be be customized to your specifications for size, color, or materials. Please note that custom handmade pieces cannot be compared with mass market items in terms of material cost or labor.

ORDER INFORMATION: Please include size information required for the item when you order. It causes a lot of hassle and delay for us to request it and wait for it, and will likely delay your order significantly. READ the Item Description please.
PAYPAL ADDRESS: Be sure your Paypal address is current and correct. We ship all U.S. orders from Paypal and we are not responsible if not kept accurate.
CANCELLED ORDERS: Please order only when you have made up your mind. Only orders cancelled within 24 hours receive full refund. Orders cancelled after that are subject to a 25% to 50% cutting fee.

*AudraJean is a one-man operation and all items are hand made by yours truly. All items are made to fit and have a 2 to 3 week production time before they are shipped. Items that require alterations to the existing design or that are fully customized will have a longer production time.

This underbust harness belt is amazing quality. It fits like a glove as I gave my measurements and it looks so, so good with anything I wear. I wear it over dresses or tops and it just lifts the look of the whole outfit giving anything I wear a super fine shape. Thank you :-)

Shop policies

We want to provide top quality materials and craftsmanship in our accessory items, and we want you to be thrilled with your AudraJean purchase when you receive it. We make every effort to make sure that your item has an optimum fit, and that you have the best possible idea of what you are ordering.

Please check your messages. If your etsy email is rarely or never checked, we may have size questions that will hold up your order indefinitely until you follow up. We send and receive messages through Etsy only.

We welcome all inquiries for custom orders and we'll do our best to accomodate your desire.

We also make every effort to ship your order promptly, but this is dependent on many factors such as backorders, shipping issues, and material availability. If you are pressed for time, please advise and we will try to work out a plan.

If you are not satisfied with an item's quality, or feel it was misrepresented in any way, please contact us within 2 days of receiving it, and we will do our best to find a solution. Please pay close attention to sizing when ordering hats, and make sure you have measured your size correctly. Belts and harnesses are more forgiving but the more accurate your measurements, the better chance of a good fit. Each leather item is custom sized to your measurements--refunds for inaccurate size will not be issued.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
Payment is due via Paypal upon ordering. Please checkout and provide size details at the time of order. Please send us a message if payment is delayed more than 24 hours an order is placed. E-checks take up to a week so the order date is the date of the payment clearing.

For custom pieces, we will create a listing with your name on it, with a description of the custom item. Please advise us when you are ready to checkout / pay for the item, or agreed-upon deposit. We expect checkout within 2 days of advising you of your custom listing. We will produce your custom item after you've checked out.
Shipping
COST: The shipping costs are based on estimates based on USPS Priority Mail rates, and first class international. Please advise if you need expedited shipping and we will find alternatives or rush options where possible.
PAYPAL ADDRESS: U.S. orders are shipped using Paypal directly. Make sure your paypal address is current and correct. We will not be responsible for failure to keep your paypal address current.
DEADLINES: We will make every effort to make sure you receive your order if you have a need-by date. Lead time is 2 to 3 weeks. However, we make no guarantees. There will be no refunds if you do not receive your order by a certain date.
INSURANCE: If you are concerned for your order, we suggest requesting insurance on your item with signature. We are not responsible for items lost in the mail as we have no control over delivery.
INTERNATIONAL Orders are shipped USPS First Class Mail. Tracking numbers requires packages be sent Priority with an extra cost of $25 - $30 US. Please request via Etsy convo if you want tracking.
CUSTOMS: Orders will be marked Merchandise as per the law, regardless of requests to mark it otherwise.
Refunds and Exchanges
Each piece is made by hand to order with attention to quality and craftsmanship. There are no returns or exchanges like at Nordstroms or other large retailer. Please make sure the size information you provide is accurate as we are not responsible for the item not fitting properly if the measurements provided were incorrect. We will repair or replace a piece if there is any defect in workmanship. If you are not pleased with your item, please contact us within 2 days of receipt with the reason. We make every effort to make sure your item fits optimally. Buyer will need to pay for shipping, and a restocking fee up to 90% of original cost may be applied. Etsy sellers are not the same as a department store with large quantities of stock in different sizes, so we thank you for your understanding.
We make absolutely no guarantee that you will receive your order by a specific date. If you have an event you need your order by, please let us know with at least 3 weeks lead time. There will be no refunds if a date is missed.
Additional policies and FAQs
Check your email and Etsy messages! Very important. Tracking information for U.S. addresses are shipped through paypal and a ship notice is sent to your paypal email. We are not responsible for messages not being received by you in a timely fashion. Send us messages through Etsy convo only, not paypal, not email please.

Custom orders are not refundable; however, we will work with you throughout the process of creating your custom piece to make sure it meets your specifications. Please advise us when you are ready to checkout & pay so we can create a custom listing for you, and then checkout within 48 hours. We will produce a custom item only after checkout and payment are completed.

Re-sellers: our prices are already at wholesale levels, although we will be happy to work with you on a customized pricing schedule for multiple orders and combined shipping, depending on the items desired. Please contact us.
