Vintage Shop Keeper ... Wannabe Personal Chef

I was my Mother’s Little Helper in the kitchen and her love of cooking and entertaining was definitely passed on to me. My dream job is to be a personal chef for a small family, a single person or a couple. So as I dream ... about my dream job ... I have fun being a Vintage Shop Keeper and taking care of my Etsy Shops ... auntemilie and SewElementary !

aunt emilie was born when I started to take inventory of all the wonderful collectibles that had been passed on to me, along with a vast collection of wonderful pieces that I had collected and stored away. The pieces fit ... my need to find new homes for what I wasn't using or needing and a venue for me to use my varied eclectic skills, none of which I am an expert at !

Hello and Welcome ! Most of the items that you will find in my shop have been in my family for decades. You will find a variety of vintage jewelry, home décor, ladies scarves, art work, postcards, thingamajigs, doodads and thingamabobs !

Accepted payment methods

Payment
I accept major credit cards through Etsy Direct Check Out, PayPal and Etsy Gift Cards. I also accept US Postal Money Orders; however you will need to contact me to make arrangements for this.
Shipping
I ship US parcel post, First Class and Priority US mail. Books, cd's and record albums are shipped via USPS Media Mail. I track and insure all packages inside the continental US.

For International shipping costs, please contact me for an estimate. If shipping to a foreign country all duty and import fees will be paid by and be the responsibility of the buyer.

I typically ship within two to three days from the time of purchase. If you need expedited service, please let me know prior to purchase. I will then let you know if it is possible and if any additional expenses will be required.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: the buyer is responsible for all customs fees, duties, and import charges that are levied at the time of delivery. International buyers need to provide a telephone number a requirement of USMail postal service for customs forms. Packages are shipped to your address on file with Etsy or Paypal. if you have a different address you would like me to ship to please message me. Please double check your address.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you aren't happy with your purchase, for any reason, I will accept a return and issue a refund. Items must be returned in original package in original condition. Requests for refunds must be made within 7 business days of receipt of item and item must be returned within 7 to 10 days of request for return. BUYER PAYS RETURN SHIPPING

If the item you have purchased is damaged in shipping I will need proof to show the post office for a damage claim on the insurance.

Please look at item pictures and ask questions ahead of purchase I can always supply more pictures and am happy to answer questions. Vintage items are not new and will have their signs of use and age this is to be expected.

I reserve the right to cancel a transaction 1) if I am concerned about the merchandise arriving to its destination safely and securely, 2) if purchaser's pay pal account is not a verified account, 3) if there is no postal code for the send to address, 4) if buyer does not reply within 36 hours to a question that we might have about the order placed. We aim for smooth transactions and happy customers, Happy Customers is our number one priority.
