I look for the old,odd,unique for its age,charm and beauty.
Come have some tea and we'll chat for a while. My story on Etsy began in January, 2008. I started with my late mother's inventory of antiques and depression glass and it grew from there. Since then I've taken up weaving rugs but mostly I've gifted more things than I've had for sale, and making jewelry and organic beeswax skincare products and candles.
I've also made several gorgeous beaded necklaces using lamp work beads from artisans all over the world and lovely earrings too.

I've been making organic beeswax hand lotion bars.
The Victorian era, the period of Queen Victoria's reign, from 1837 until her death in 1901, and older has become my specialty. I love the old black beaded trims on clothing and purses, mother of pearl on spoon handles and other items, the ornate designs on very old trays and silverware too. I've rescued some old broken black jet mourning and Art Deco beaded necklaces and spent time refreshing them and they're now lively pieces. I like to call this therapy!
The oldest items in my shop include an early 1800's velvet beaded reticule purse, blue and white dishes from the 1840's and a woman's silk plush Civil War era jacket. Have you ever seen crazing on a plate or worn paint on an ornament? It just adds more character to its beauty.
I have 1940's dresses and tap pants with matching slips, gorgeous purses, beaded gloves, mink stoles and other lovelies. Are you looking for something in particular? Ask.
Many hours of research goes into the item that I have in my hand. There's so much to learn and so many interesting facts to find.

You will find hand made,supplies and vintage. All of my items that I have listed as VINTAGE, are just that, 20 years old or older!
I try to price my items reasonably to sell. If you see something that is crazy high and you just can't live without it,convo me and you never know, we could very well work out a deal!

Returns and exchange details
The only items I DO NOT allow returns or exchanges on as the market for them fluctuates daily is gold or silver items; gold jewelry, cuff links, etc., in any karat weight, bullion or coins, 925. sterling, jewelry or scrap silver, .999 troy ounce coins or rounds, 90% silver coins and the like.
If your item is damaged during shipping, contact me with a picture and I will happily refund your money. Sometimes I ask that the item is returned. If you are not satisfied please contact me first and we will work it out. Returns are not accepted after 10 days of their delivery.

Shipping
Items generally ship in 3-5 business days of purchase. During the holiday season the vintage Christmas ornaments and decorations are flying off my shelves and I will ship ASAP.
I send a shipping notice to buyers after their order has been sent with a tracking number. I generally ship by first class, standard or priority. I ship flat rate when it is in the customer's favor.
