About

Aura [awr-uh] noun, 2. a subtly pervasive quality or atmosphere seen as emanating from a person, place, or thing.

AuraStrands was born from a desire to have a beautiful, yet functional way to diffuse essential oils.

My name is Bethany, and I'm a wife, mom, crazy oil-lady, and the artist behind AuraStrands. I love art in all its forms and one of my creative outlets is jewelry making. I have made jewelry for many years, but about a year ago, after making my first piece of essential oil diffuser jewelry for myself, a small business was born. I started out making just a handful of pieces for family and friends, but my jewelry making quickly jumped onto selling platforms such as Etsy, local boutiques, and farmer's markets.

I've been a long-time essential oil user, and I love having a natural way to help keep my family healthy. I love the natural beauty of God's creation, and I love to reflect that in my work by using natural gemstones and other design components found in nature. And being able to combine all these gifts into something useful I can share with others is something I am very grateful for.

I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Items on sale
Returns and exchange details
-If there is a problem with your order, please contact me as soon as possible. Due to the personal and handmade nature of my work, I do not offer refunds. I offer exchanges for either the same item, or another item of equal value. If the item is no longer available, I will do my best to make something similar or of equal value. If you need to send something back for an exchange, you are responsible for return shipping.

-If an item has been damaged/broken, I will do my best to repair/replace the item for you. I reserve the right to refuse a repair/replacement if I feel the item was damaged due to negligent use. Buyer is responsible for the return shipping. I will not offer any exchange/return/replacement of any item after 90 days of the original purchase date.

-Returns/exchanges must be sent back in a padded mailer. DO NOT ship back items in a regular envelope!

-Regarding cancellations, you MUST contact me ASAP. NO cancellations will be processed after 12 hours of the time the order was placed.
Payment
I accept credit cards through Etsy's direct checkout and Etsy gift certificates.
Shipping
-PLEASE be sure your shipping address is entered correctly! I ship to the address as entered, so make sure it's right!
Postage for redirecting orders sent to the wrong address is the responsibility of the buyer.
I DO NOT intercept orders sent to incorrect addresses.

-Most orders are shipped within 1-3 business days, but can take up to 5 days, depending on current order volume. If you need your order rushed, please let me know prior to ordering! I always try my best to get every order shipped as soon as possible.

-PRIORITY SHIPPING UPGRADE is available for any order. If you select this upgrade for your order, this means that your order moves to the front of the line and is processed ASAP. Priority orders are shipped either same day or the following day. If you place your priority upgraded order on a Saturday or Sunday (Eastern time US), your order will be shipped on the following Monday. Please note that processing times to not include shipping time! I process your order within 2 days (maximum), and then once shipped, the USPS Priority Mail shipping takes up to 3 days. If you have any questions, please let me know!

-All international orders are insured, and the shipping price includes the cost of insurance.

-I am not responsible for lost or damaged orders. If your order has been lost in transit, please contact your local post office with your tracking number and they can further assist you. If you would like insurance added on your order(USA), please let me know in the Note To Seller box at checkout. I am not responsible for delayed shipping, since once a package leaves my shop, I do not have control over how fast it gets to you.
