Unique patterns for knitting lace, hand knit shawls and hand woven scarves
My shop features unique patterns for lace knitters. I love dragons and I love lace knitting. I had to see if I could combine the two and the Heere Be Dragone shawl was born. It was the first of many "Picture" shawls inspired by mythological beasts, nature, or just "how can I ...?"
My inspirations come from many sources, nature, my friends, my husband's pictures from our travels, my love of dragons, suggestions from customers and occasionally, from out of no-where (often at 2 am).
I woke up one night with 3 cats sitting on my bed.
They said, "You are doing us next"
I said, "No, I'm not. i'm woking on something else and besides, I am a dog person, not a cat person"
They said, "Yes, you are" Needless to say, cats being cats, the next shawl finished was Jellico Cats.
Because I personally knit each pattern to make sure it works, on occasion, I have available finished, one of a kind, hand knit shawls. And just for the fun of it, an occasional hand woven scarf.

Crazy Lace Lady
I have been knitting more years than I care to count. In 1998, I discovered spinning and alpacas. Hand spun, black alpaca led me to designing my first lace. I love to knit and design lace, many of my patterns are very unique 'picture' shawls .
