All about Aurora...


At Aurora Bridal, I design and create a small collection of handcrafted jewelry pieces and wedding accessories for the modern bride seeking something special, unique and handmade with love and careful attention to detail.

Although my collection consistently provide a theme of old fashioned elegance and hollywood glamour, you'll also often find delicate, etherial pieces inspired by the beauty of nature.

I am entirely self taught and my designs are crafted using various traditional jewelry making and vintage millinery techniques. From silk petal forming to intricate wirework, I use only the finest quality components including high grade rhinestones, crystals & pearls by Swarovski Elements™, luxurious fabrics and feathers. Craft grade rhinestones or crystals are never used throughout my work.

I personally welcome your comments, queries or design requests info [!at] Custom orders may be available depending on our current workload so please enquire early to avoid disappointment. We recommend ordering at least 6 weeks in advance for jewelry and 8-12 for headpieces, sashes and clutches.

Welcome to the Aurora Bridal store on Etsy for our collection of wedding Headpieces, Clutches, Sashes and Bridal Jewelry; all handmade to order. All pieces are created using premium Swarovski Elements™ components, precious pearls, metals & luxury silk fabrics.

Unlike a usual retail store, Etsy is a unique online marketplace that connects a buyer directly to the very person creating your purchase. Therefore, I ask that you take a moment before ordering to ensure you have read my terms below (particularly those pertaining to construction and shipping times).

If you require a rush order, please contact us PRIOR to making your purchase to discuss availabilty. Based on the large volume of orders we receive, we can no longer complete or ship orders any faster based on notes that are left at checkout. Thank you for understanding.

Almost all items (except those marked 'ready to ship') are each exclusively, handmade to order, so please refer to each item description for our estimated construction and shipping times. This may vary for each piece due to the level of intricacy required. When placing a custom order we advise that you allow at least 12 weeks for construction.

-------- SHIPPING POLICIES --------
Domestic Orders (within the USA) are charged a shipping fee between $5.95 and $8.95 depending on the size of order. Items are sent via USPS Priority Mail as standard and generally, up to 1 week should be allowed for delivery. Please note that this is an estimated delivery time provided by USPS and IS NOT guaranteed*.

International orders are charged a shipping fee between $13.95 and $24.95 depending on your location. These orders are sent via USPS International Mail which can take between 2-5 weeks. Please note that this is also an estimated delivery time provided by the USPS and IS NOT guaranteed*.

If your country is not listed, please contact us. We will tthen be happy to present you with a shipping quotation according to the current postal charges.

Please also note that many countries may apply import taxes and customs fees on packages over a certain value entering the country. Please be aware that these customs and duty fees are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.


Expedited shipping is always available, for both international and domestic orders and now you can select the shipping method you require yourself at checkout. Pricing varies according to order size and delivery location.

If you also do not have the required construction time available before your special event, please contact us PRIOR TO ORDERING with information about your timescale. We will do all we can to accommodate your request.

* DOMESTIC & INTERNATIONAL RUSH ORDERS are charged a flat rush fee of $20.00 for expedited construction only (not inclusive of shipping). Your new, expedited construction date will as agreed upon, prior to ordering on a case by case basis.


**Re: Shipping times**
For all locations & countries: All delivery times are approximate and provided by the USPS as a rough guideline. Once a parcel is shipped, any possible delays are unfortunately out of our control (especially with International orders where a delay through customs may occur on rare occasion). Please order early to avoid disappointment and a delay in shipment.

All items are sent gift wrapped in our signature Aurora Bridal packaging, ready for gift giving.

Please note, the shipping charge is inclusive of postage and packaging.
Refunds and Exchanges
All pieces are handcrafted to order and due to the nature of such products, ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Please kindly be aware that we are unable to issue cancellations, returns, refunds or exchanges once an order has been placed.

We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have first, in order for you to make the correct choice when ordering. Pearl, crystal and fabric color samples are always available upon request.

If you wish to make an customization or amendment to your purchase, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order. Depending on the level of progress already achieved on your item, we may possibly be able to accomodate your request. Unfortunately, after this time has passed absolutely no alterations will be permitted.

For multiple purchases (of one item), please contact us first before buying. We will then grant you a 10% discount - which is an excellent money saving idea for bridesmaids!

All items listed in our shop are customizable and available in many color ways - please contact me for the current Swarovski color charts. Most items are also available in either Sterling Silver or Gold Fill too.

Please note, that due to the nature of handmade designs, there may be slight variations throughout our more intricate designs. This means that two pieces will never be exactly the same and the one that you recieve may vary, ever so slightly, to the one shown. This makes each piece special and totally unique for you!

Frequently asked questions

Are your items made to order and how long does that take?

Almost all items listed are handmade to order therefore the lead time is provided in each item's description. Usually that time will be approximately 2 -4 weeks, depending on the intricacy of your pieces. You can also access the ship date of your order via your confirmation statement (under 'my orders') at any time.

How long will delivery take?

For domestic orders within the United States, once your items are made to order and shipped, you can expect to receive them in 3 business days. I always ship via Priority Mail for the speediest delivery and obtain a tracking number. That information should be sent out automatically to you via Etsy. However if you do not receive it or are concerned about an unexpected USPS delay, please contact me straight away.

International delivery times can vary due to your local customs standard processing procedure which although rare, is sadly out of my control. Should this happen however, please contact me immediately so I can remedy the problem.

Do you have any items made and ready to ship straight away?

Some select pieces that are ready for shipping may be already listed for sale throughout my shop but if you are having difficulty tracking them down, please drop me a message and I can provide further information. I also usually also have a select few finished one off pieces in my studio ready for sale. Please contact me for the latest updates about that too. Ready made items can usually be shipped out to you within the next business day which in turn means you'd be looking to receive your order only 3-4 business days following the sale (US only)

Do you offer custom orders?

Yes but unfortunately, I can only accommodate a very limited quantity of custom work so urge you to contact me well in advance of your wedding/special occasion date to discuss availability, exchange ideas and formulate a plan to create something beautiful, and unique just for you.
