I have just created some beautiful new tabletop designs. I even have stands available as an upgrade. Wouldn't these make a beautiful bridal shower centerpiece? heartheartheart
Take a look at the beautiful table top versions of my dress forms. These beauties are inspired by vintage Christmas decorations. Each design has a unique set of angel wings handmade by me.
I just created this brand-new style of wings just in time for Christmas. These would make a beautiful addition to your home Decour this holiday season.

Creating One-ofa-Kind New "Old" Dressmaker's Forms

Oh how I love antique and vintage dressmaker's forms!
I had purchased one for my daughter's room. It was very expensive and when I wanted a second one, I decided to design my very own new "old" form. "Amelie" turned out gorgeous! I was so proud of her that I posted photos of her on Facebook.

Well...guess what happened? A friend of mine in California sent me a message...."Is she for sale?". Uh....well, I guess she is. So the adventure of Starview Sonnet Designs began. Since that first creation almost two and a half years ago, I have created over 70 one-of-a-kind "girls" for shop owners, fashion divas,. homeowner's and jewelry makers.

My designs have continued to improve and evolve with each and every project. I absolutely LOVE what I do. I am always on the look out for vintage buttons, lace, trim and jewelry to incorporate into my designs. I love using unique text and graphic detail to personalize my girls. They can be right at home in any setting. Some are simple and elegant. Some are sparkly and girly-girl. Then there are some in-between. All beautiful. All special. Each One-Of-A-Kind.

Doesn't every little girl have a dream that goes something like this.......????

"I'd love to live in the country someday"

"Wouldn't it be fabulous to have your own little cottage?"

"Can you imagine doing what you love and making a little money too?"

Well...THIS GIRL has realized all these dreams. I live on a beautiful country hilltop. I have an adorable guest cottage/artist studio to work in.. I AM DOING WHAT I LOVE, and, yes, making a little money at it.

I'd love to share my passion with you and create your special dressmaker's form.

My forms are destined to become heirlooms (I just know it). : )

I have had a love affair with vintage dressmaker's forms and mannequin for as long as I can remember. Now I am so lucky to design new "old" dress forms that are one-of-a-kind pieces of art for my customers.

Thanks for much for stopping in Starview Sonnet.

My dress forms are all created custom for each of my customers. They are a one-oi-a-kind creation. I will attempt to create a form as close to the listing you selected as possible. Since many of the materials I use are vintage, laces and trims may vary from form to form.

I pride myself in communicating with my customers in a timely manner. If you have any questions at all, just send me a conversation.

Since each piece is created to order, I need to allow up to 3 weeks in production time, based on my current workload. If you form is going to take longer, I will be sure to let you know via a conversation or email.
