I love this bag. It is the perfect size and design, and exceptional construction. I love the leather trims. I wish it came with a"dangling charm" like some of the other bags. It could be considered the designer's calling card or label. Also it would have been nice for the interior zipper pulley to use the same leather strip as the outside zipper pulleys. I replaced the inside pulley with the red ribbon the bag was packaged with. The pulley it came with feels like a leather wire. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and the delivery time. I wanted it for my vacation over the July 4th and it arrived today, June 21, 2017. Perfect timing. Question, can this bag be machine washed? Thank you.

About

It all started when I was 8 years old.
I realised that my mother, not like other moms, does not know how to knit. All my friends had hand knitted pullover and my desire was to have one too.
One of my friend's mom taught me the basics in knitting, and from that moment on,
no one could separate me from my wool and knitting needles. I took them everywhere, till my first blue pullover was finished (not wearable though:).

That was my first conscious revelation of my passion to create.

Many years after, while traveling in north Europe, I came across an amazing felted scarf
which made me very curious to find out what felt is, and how to make such beautiful piece.
I bought art and craft books and magazines, searched the Internet for information and taught myself the fascinating art of wet felting.
For me this experience is like painting with fibres, in an amazing process of transforming loose wool and silk fibres into unique textile, letting my imagination run free.

Living in Israel means, among other things, having about 250 days of
sunny and hot days every year. Working with wool is almost impossible during those days, which was a good reason to expand my creativity to new areas and that lead me to design variety of bags.
After few years of making canvas leather bags, my supplier stopped importing canvas.
I was very confused not able to find the materials I was used to work with, but problems are always the base for new ideas - I started recycling almost anything I could put my hands on: vintage denim trousers, old army bags and cloth, leather belts and bags.

Recycling is very challenging on one hand - how to create new from old,
and satisfying on the other by helping to keep Earth clean.

I’m learning new things every day and looking forward to the next new challenge.
