It started with Gatsby..

I started selling on Etsy because I had quite a large vintage collection I wanted to pare down. Once I started making sales and hearing how happy my customers were with their new-to-them pieces, I began to actively hunt for vintage treasures for the shop.

There are so many benefits to owning vintage items, but I think my favorite thing is the uniqueness of it. From clothing to home decor, I think it's so great to own something that few other people, if any, also own.

By the way, the name "A Wild Tonic" comes from a line in "The Great Gatsby"! :)

I started this shop in February of 2010 because I had a surplus of vintage jewelry. It since has blossomed into a vintage shop with new items added weekly. I get such a thrill from shopping for pieces for my store. Searching through racks for one-of-a-kind jewelry or gorgeous vintage bags makes me so very happy.

I am committed to satisfying my customers. If you have any questions or comments or concerns at all, don't hesitate to send me a convo and I'll get back to you ASAP. My ultimate goal is to find these vintage items some happy new owners.

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
I gladly accept returns
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
I don't accept exchanges or cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale
Returns and refunds are on a case-by-case basis. If a refund is accepted, only the item cost will be refunded, not the original shipping cost. The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs as well. Items on sale are final sale; returns and/or refunds will not be accepted. Sorry for any inconvenience!
Payment
Payment is accepted through Paypal and Etsy direct checkout.
Shipping
I ship USPS, usually First Class or Priority with Delivery Confirmation. Items will almost always be shipped out within three days of purchase. I will ship to the address linked to the buyer's Etsy account unless I am told otherwise before or immediately after purchase. I can upgrade the shipping to the buyer's specifications at the expense of the buyer. If you want expedited shipping or insurance, please send me a convo. International shipping is also offered with all fees paid by the buyer. I am unable to mark items as "gifts" to avoid any additional fees. Sorry for any inconvenience!

I ship all items ready-to-wear, and I use recycled materials to ship.

If you'd like me to reserve an item for you, send me a convo and I'll hold it for up to 3 days.

A Wild Tonic is NOT responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged products. If you would like insurance on your purchase, please let me know, and an additional fee will be charged before shipment.
