About

We transform your baby's impermanent ultrasound into a beautiful, archival piece of art.

When I was six months pregnant, my husband surprised me with the best birthday present ever—a large-scale cyanotype print of our precious baby-to-be. Now almost five years later, that beautiful blue ultrasound hangs above a reading chair on the wall of our son’s bedroom. Last year while pregnant with our baby girl, my husband created a cyanotype print of her ultrasound, too. It hangs in her room above her dresser as part of a gallery wall display. I see these prints every day, and in those brief moments I am reminded of the feeling of love-at-first-sight I had for each of our sweet children.

It is an amazing experience to see your baby for the first time and to receive those small, black and white ultrasound prints from the doctor. It is impossible to avoid putting them up on the fridge so you can see them every moment of every day, all the while dreaming of holding your little one. Unfortunately, those delicate prints fade. This can occur drastically—even by the time your baby is born. The prints that we create from your original ultrasound are a permanent solution to this problem. When on display, they act as a reminder of that first moment where you saw your baby and fell in love. Do not let those moments and emotions fade away.

Frequently asked questions
Why should I order one of these prints? Can’t I just display the original ultrasound?

Ultrasounds do two things very well—they provide the first glimpse of your new child/children, and they fade (quite badly). Unless they are stored away in a dark place, they may disappear all but completely. However, doing this stands at odds with the excitement of the occasion. You want them to be on display! This is where we come in. Our products allow you to exhibit the new addition/s to your family without fear of the fade. These one-of-a-kind works of art celebrate your baby/babies while enhancing the walls of your home or nursery.

Do I need to give you my actual, physical ultrasound to get a custom print?

No! We want your ultrasounds to remain safe with you. All we need is for you to email us a digital copy. You can do this with your phone, digital camera, or scanner. When you place your order, you will be sent more specific instructions.

When I place an order, will you send me a digital download that I will print myself?

No, we do not provide digital files for download. We take pride in the custom images that we create and want the physical print to reflect our high-quality standard. So you send us a digital copy of your ultrasound, and we'll do the rest.

How can I order one of your prints for a friend?

There are a few ways to gift one of our prints. The first method is to simply purchase the product yourself and provide us with your friend's ultrasound (this may require sneakiness on your part if it is a surprise). You may then ask that we mail the print to you (if you prefer to deliver it yourself) or directly to your friend (if they live far away). We do not provide gift wrapping services, but we can and will write a custom message at your request. The second method is to purchase the product yourself, tell your friend, then have them contact us for instructions on what to do next. The third method is to purchase a gift certificate from our shop.

I just placed an order. When will my print arrive?

This is custom work, so it is not an overnight job. Placing your order is the first step, then we need a digital copy of your ultrasound. As soon as we receive this file, it can take anywhere from 1-2 weeks to make and ship the print. Delivery will vary depending on the shipping option you select. If you need the print by a specific date (i.e. for a baby shower), please let us know. We will do our best to make sure it arrives on time. We typically do most of our printing on Thursday evenings and ship on Fridays or Saturdays. So if you want your print shipped by the weekend (to arrive sometime the next week), get those digital ultrasound files to us by Tuesday.
