Inspired by folklore

When Katarzyna Houtman became a mum, she noticed the baby’s clothing industry is full of repetitive patterns and designs, so she dreamt of something different for her son. She wanted a product that will not only look nice but will also have a deeper meaning, an educational side, a story that can be told. And Folky is the realization of that dream.

The name Folky has its root in the word ‘folklore’ and was founded by a mum for other mums and their little ones. In the world of mass production we seek to craft unique baby garments of different cultures and cultivate their traditions. All of our designs origin from the love for nature, tradition and respect to our ancestors heritage. We try to include everything that is beautiful and fascinating about the past and make the new. Our aim is to provide the best garment for your babies, so quality and the uniqueness of every design is what we stand for. We hope that our products will help you, dear mamas, explore the folklore of other nations and teach your little ones about them. Enjoy 🙂

Because your baby is one of a kind and we would like to emphasize that, none of our clothes are ”mass” produced and every item is handmade and unique. All of the products are designed and produced in Europe, using high quality fabrics, best printing methods and premium finishing. We craft a limited number of every design, after it’s sold we will create a new pattern or design.
