This jar is pretty much as described except the 'wear' on the lid turned out to be small surface chips rather than just the dulled worn glaze that I had expected. The other flaw was accurately described, though. The shipment took a while, but the seller was extremely nice when contacted about the delay, and refunded a generous portion of the shipping costs, so I can't really complain. It is a very fun piece & I am glad that I purchased it. Thanks!
Bacchus Emporium, A Labor of Love and Style
When I moved to New Haven, Connecticut to live with Kerry, I knew he had some vintage items he'd been selling on consignment. I had no idea I'd be spending the next several months going through hundreds of items in storage, just to make room for my stuff. We decided the best way to share and sell the treasures we'd collected was to open an Etsy shop of our own, using our individual strengths to make it all work. What you see is just the beginning of what we hope to be a successful side business, where we can connect with like-minded people and sell gently used treasures for the good of the earth and in the name of good taste. As we come into the new year, we continue to learn about this exciting business and seek out amazing vintage pieces to delight all kinds of people.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING will be honored with the proper customs form at the post office. The United States does not allow Int'l packages to be sent as GIFTS. Again, Convo us for confirmation or insurance of your purchases.
Your lovely treasure goes to your Etsy address, so make sure your contact info is up to date before finalizing the purchase.
Refunds and Exchanges
Vintage items are, almost without exception, previously loved and used items, and will show some form or another of wear. We do our very best to call out any visible flaws via photo and/or description. If you have a question about an item, Convo us BEFORE BUYING! Our sales for vintage and handmade items are final. We do not accept returns unless there is a circumstance where you feel the item has been grossly misrepresented.
Once a purchase goes out, we expect it to arrive at your door in the condition it was sent and in a timely fashion. Items lost or damaged (a rare but possible thing) during shipping are not the responsibility of Bacchus. Don't forget: you have the option to insure. We'll be happy to make the arrangements. Convo!
