Welcome All! I am a self-taught artist and have a knack for painting in reverse ~:o) I paint antique wood sash windows in a backwards style of a conventional artist, which is a technique that has been around for hundreds of years. The painting’s colors are intensified but mistakes are unforgiving and each cherished painting is a one of a kind original. Each window is different, some hand multiple panes, some have old metal latches, and some very old windows even have bubbles in the glass. Every wall in my home is filled with painted windows and my favorite is always the one that I am working on! Knowing that I help the environment by keeping these vintage windows out of the landfill is a wonderful bonus. My hope is each one will become a family keepsake enjoyed for generations to come. I load the windows into my truck haul them to my little farm. I clean repair and prepare each for that next magical step... Each window seems to have its own personality and after many hours of TLC, lots of paint they turn into a wonderful, unique creation...

Additional policies and FAQs
FAQ:
My windows are painted with acrylic paints directly onto the glass in a reverse fashion it is susceptible to damage by moisture and direct sunlight. I do have quite a few paintings on the outside of my home that are well protected under the eve of my home and I have one on our chicken coop all are well protected from rain & snow & out of the direct sunlight. I do put on numerous coats of paint and a couple of final heavy paint coatings that helps to prevent any damage from occurring. If it is well cared for it will last for many Years to come.

My hand made items may have variances in color or finish, which builds upon the character of the one of a kind original art pieces.
