Welcome to Backwoods Creations, an eclectic assortment of items based upon my fascination with color, fabric, texture and layers upon layers. The world of nature and all of its layers and layers hold a strong fascination for me in an introspective kind of way. Funny, serious, natural or not so natural is what makes my world go around.

Returns and exchanges
Items can be refunded for purchase price within 2 weeks of receipt. All items must be returned in the original condition sent. Any strong odors (perfume or cigarette smoke) will reduce your refund by 50%.
Payment
Payment is due within 3 working days of purchase. I prefer Paypal but will take a personal check (it will take longer to receive your item with a personal check since it must clear the bank). If you are a Maine resident I will send you an invoice with the appropriate sales tax amount. If you need to cancel your purchase prior to shipping that is fine with me. Once an item has been shipped the refund policy listed below will be followed.
Shipping
I ship by USPS Priority Shipping and Global Priority. I try to be fair and accurate in all my shipping which includes a small shipping and handling fee. I ship the next business day of a payment clearing. IF you have any questions regarding an item and combining shipping please send me a convo. Every once in awhile I make a blooper and overcharge on shipping. I will send you a refund either via check in the package or via paypal. I am not responsible for items damaged by the USPS service. I pack items well and nothing has ever arrived damaged. If you wish insurance please let me know and I will send you an amended invoice.
Additional policies and FAQs
I accept custom orders, alchemy and wholesale orders. I am open for long discussions to get what you want right. Unless it is a highly unusual request with costly materials envolved I do not ask for any money up front. The sky is pretty much the limit and I love a challenge.
