Never Received My Order & After Reaching Out To The Seller More Than Once Regarding This Issue I Didn't Get An Explanation Until After The Fact Of Me Reporting This To Esty & Asking For a Refund. Though The Seller Did Offered a Complementary For My Troubles I Didn't Receive That Either ... oh well you live & learn

You received a FULL REFUND AND A NEW ORDER SENT TO YOU. It has only been 3 days, all of which are the weekend! So you haven't even given it a chance to get there. I went above and beyond for you. Like you said, you live and you learn.

From Thank-You's to Must Have's!

Working as a professional makeup artist has put me in contact with a lot of amazing people. I have traveled all over the world, and everywhere I went, I studied what natural resources each country had to offer in terms of skin care and beauty.

At the end of every photo or video shoot, I would leave little "thank you" gifts to my clients for hiring me. After a while, clients started requesting certain items they had been gifted, which were their new "must have" candles, soaps and lotions, and then one client in particular insisted that I start selling my creations. Shortly after that, I relocated cross country to Los Angeles, where I began selling my products at various outdoor markets and events.

Soon, I found myself not only selling my products, but designing product lines for other "Celebrity" owned beauty companies, landing high end product lines in stores like Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus Japan. It was fun for a while, but once a line takes off, small companies like mine are traded in for overseas mass production, & the quality & purity of the creation is lost. "Organic" gets put on the label, but only about 2% of the ingredients truly are. Pure high quality organic oils are traded in for cheaper oils and synthetics, as well as cheaper manufacturing methods.

You see, my great-grandmother trained me in what I do, and truly believed I could make it into something great. She was an amazing woman and herbalist. I still use many of the same methods and techniques that she taught me. My effort in creating each of my products cannot be duplicated on a mass level, and I soon realized that while I enjoyed the money, I missed meeting my end-user customers at shows, getting their feedback and opinions. More importantly, I refuse to compromise the integrity of my products for a buck.

So I went back to my small workshop, and I went back to my markets and art shows. I discovered Etsy and the world of new customers it opens a small company up to. Now, I continue to create my products my way, and I haven't looked back since.

Welcome to Badan Body Alchemy. In April of 2016, I celebrated 28 years in business, producing the highest quality vegan & organic body care.

Using organic shea butter, jojoba and rice oils as my main ingredients, for over 28 YEARS I have formulated & handmade luxurious body care products especially for sensitive skin like mine. I spent most of my life studying alchemy, aromatherapy and natural healing, and I use the same age old processes my great great great grandmother used, to produce my soaps and other products now, which is what makes them so creamy, rich and gentle.

I didn't always know this was my path, despite being lucky enough to have been taught and trained by the best (in my opinion since she was my great grand mother). I have extremely sensitive skin, and In high school, right around the time my great grandmothers health began to fail, I started experimenting with using
"cool" commercial products that my fellow high school friends were using. The result, I developed rosacea...bad! My skin literally felt like it was on fire! I decided then that I would carry on the tradition of creating products that everyone can use safely and without any negative reaction, which is what separates me from other companies.

All payments must be received within 3 days of order placement, however I do understand that things happen, so just convo me if you have a problem paying within that time.

All order shipped within the State of California are unfortunately subject to sales tax of 9.75%, its the Law and I have to do it.

Custom orders must be prepaid before manufacturing will begin, and require a turnaround time of 2-3 weeks.
Please remember, it is much cheaper to send multiple items than individual items.

I ship using USPS First Class for items that weigh under 15.9oz. USPS Priority Mail is available for orders over 15.9oz for your convenience. At times I will use FedEx Ground if it will be cheaper for you, unless you prefer Priority Mail (which many people do).

Orders are shipped as soon as possible in the order received. While I try to get orders out within 48 hours, I do request 5 days just to be safe. Custom orders, especially those that require a custom fragrance blend require a 6-8 week window to allow me the proper amount of time needed to test each custom blend in the final product.

***EXTREME WEATHER*** When extreme weather conditions are present, I will hold an order when temperatures reach 100 degrees and over on candles, so that they arrive safely and not damaged.

Insurance is extra and must be paid by the customer, so please convo me if you would like to have your package insured, and I will let you know exactly how much it will be to do so.

If you need your order by a specific date, please let me know in the comment section, so that I can confirm that your due date can be met.

International orders will be processed in the same time frame as domestic orders, however, it is up to the Post Office as to how long delivery takes. Also, please inform me of any special instructions or packaging needs, if you know of any, to your country.
Refunds and Exchanges
Any damages or concerns must be reported to me within 48 hours of receipt of product. If your shipment arrives damaged, you must contact the shipping company immediately and file a claim with, either US Postal Service, or FedEx Ground.

However, if you simply want to change scents, then you will have to pay the additional shipping costs to send another product, and return shipping costs to send the original item back to me. Of course, if it is a problem on our behalf we will pay all shipping costs.
Additional policies and FAQs
Any questions? Please feel free to convo me! I will respond within 24 hours, unless it is the weekend. All emails received Saturday and Sunday will be responded to on Monday morning.
