5 out of 5 starsI'm overjoyed with the Dryad! Beautiful, delicate cuts splashing into the color; the artist is so incredibly talented! I'm proud to be able to display one of their creations in my home. Their customer service is also great, the piece shipped out right away and was very well packed.

5 out of 5 starsWe love the pieces that we ordered! They're even better in person than we expected. Brittany was responsive and receptive to our requests for customization. The results were amazing and shipped quickly. Thanks, Brittany, and maybe we'll make room for another oneiroframe, soon!

5 out of 5 starsAn absolutely gorgeous combination of paper and light with the various color-changing orbs in the tail of the Kitsune. In even a slightly dim room, this oneiroframe easily becomes a center of attention that mesmerizes. A lot of attention, detail, and care clearly went into this display - it's absolutely perfect. The combination of color and paper layers is quite immersive - I keep noticing more fine details the more I look at it, and it's easy to keep looking at this box. The box is nicely sized with just the right depth to stand stably on a table or hang on a wall - perfect for any display scenario.
About BadgerBurrowStudio
Combining paper and light to capture dreams in a box.
Welcome to Badger Burrow Studios. My specialty is “Oneiroframes,” art in silhouette, made of paper and light and dreams. I make original pieces as the inspiration takes me, but I also make custom pieces to your specifications and offer affordable laser-cut reproductions. If you are looking for inexpensive gifts consider looking at my laser-cut watercolor silhouette art cards. Remember that if whatever you see here strikes your fancy but you want to create something all your own, you can reach out to me and we can negotiate to make a piece of unique art for you and you alone.

Custom and personalized orders
I take customized commission orders! Send me a message through Etsy or via email (badgerburrowdreamboxes@gmail.com) so we can start the conversation!
Prices generally range between $250-1000 plus shipping for small-medium sized boxes (5x7" up to 11x14"), depending on the size and complexity of the box and lighting. I have also created larger boxes (16x20" and 18x24") that are generally $1200+. I usually take commissions up to two months in advance, with the first $100 or cost of materials (whichever is greater) due at reservation as a non-refundable deposit and the remainder due once the box is complete.
Lighting
I use LED lighting for all of my pieces. My standard LEDs are 12v and simply turn on and turn off. Some of my pieces utilize programmed Neopixel LEDs. The NeoPixels are 5v and allow for customized colors and some animation. LEDs typically last 50,000 hours on average.
Should any issues with the lighting occur (eg. flickering, animation stopping), send me a message with a description of the problem and I'll work with you to make sure we can get the issue fixed or the lighting replaced.
