Absolutely AMAZING service. Couldnt be happier with the earring I bought and the quick response and extra work Bad kitty crafts went to in order to make sure my beautiful earrings got to me before my wedding with extremely short notice. Not only are the products fantastic and the service exceptional, but to know that proceeds go to a charity is absolutlety amazing. Couldnt be happier and a huge thankyou!

About

BadKittyCrafts began as a way to help raise money for animal charities which stemmed from a stray tiny kitten showing up at the exact moment I needed him most, but also the worst time for me to keep him. As I tried to find a rescue or shelter to take him, I realized there were so few places that would keep him at only about 4 weeks old, that he would likely be put to sleep without a kitten nursery or foster taking him! There were near zero options, and he deserved a chance!

So, instead, I kept him! I named him Trooper, and that little guy was the definition of a BAD kitty!
But I adored him, and in turn, he became my muse.

My jewelry (and craft) obsession began to revolve around felines and I became a part time baby kitty foster for the ASPCA. I wanted to do more, but my time and funds are limited!! So I started my Etsy store and vowed to give at least 10% of all my sales to an animal charity that really needs it and where it will do the most good. I hope my story will encourage more people to explore responsible options when looking for a furry friend, to donate time and money to animal welfare charities, to practice spay and neutering, to care for their neighborhood feral cats, to shop with companies that do good for the animal community, and to most importantly, adopt a homeless pet!

Trooper has grown up big, healthy, and is still bad! Since then we have adopted a rescue dog Nahla, and one of our foster kittens stayed; she is a bad kitty too, so bad we named her Josey (after the Clint Eastwood character in the movie "The Outlaw Josey Wales"). You can see photos of them all under staff, and you will also see the bad kittys in action in some of our listings since they love to help during our photo shoots. Since our move across county, I'm beginning to think there is room for at least one more bad kitty, maybe an all black one?

I've always said things happen for a reason, although you may not know what that reason is when it happens...
