Once upon a time I fell in love and ended up on mothernity leave in Germany, where it was very difficult for me to keep my original occupation. Bag Me Frankfurt was born out of my need to create and make something usefull. I started with small items that make life of mamas easier, and than I red the book Zero Waste Home by Bea Johnson and discovered a completely new universe.
I became more conscious about what I shop and how I use things. The items we create now should help me and you to avoid plastic, one-use items and unnecessary packaging in your life. Because I love colour and structure, I want my products not only to be useful and long lasting, but also beautiful and colourfull. I think that if a minimalist or humbly living person buys something that should last for long, it should not only function well, but also look nice. Because of your amazing interest in my products Bag Me Frankfurt grew and I had my parents joining me to help me run it. Everything we sell here was made in our homes with a special care and focus on detail. We make compromises in life but not in our work! We use old and new materials, second hand curtains or old jeans as well as IKEA fabric. All used materials in high quality. Our beewsax wraps are made with local beeswax from our beekepers friends.
