Geeky Clothing, Jewelry and more!

Bahamut Dawn Creations was Founded December 2013, 8 months after my Mother's passing. She always encouraged me to spread the geeky joy, and thought I always seemed happy creating geeky stuff! I wanted to create something fun and bring joy to people with her spirit behind me.

I started with jewelry, getting my feet wet with what I liked and didn't like. Eventually I wanted to put my Graphic Design and Digital art skills to good use and started designing clothing. I first debuted my clothing in May 2014 at Ottawa Comiccon, having brought geeky leggings I had designed. And now I have expanded into dresses, skirts, hoodies, tops, bathing suits and more!

My goal is to make geeky video game, anime, cartoon, original themed clothing, accessories, you name it for the average person! Something you can wear every day or for cosplay or just to collect! To show off your love for a character, or a fandom, or your own character.

I am no longer a one person show! My husband has come on board full time to help with orders/processing, customer service and even handles the prop portion of the business! I design and get my designs sublimated onto clothing. This means the colours are dyed right into the fabric for lasting design! This also means I'm limited to using polyester or a form of cotton, as you can only sublimate clothing that is at least 50% Polyester or a special cotton (other fabrics don't absorb the ink/colours properly). I also do the 3d modeling for 3d printed work and handmake a lot of the jewelry/craft side, with some assistance from my husband. We work together on every aspect to help bring to you a reliable business structure you can trust!

The idea of printing clothing actually didn't come from any outside influence. I'm a cosplayer as a hobby, and have been designing my own cosplays for over ten years! I always wanted to make casual cosplays or geeky cosplays that anyone could wear and that weren't overly complicated to put on. That would come in a vast range of sizes too, to accomodate men, women or youth alike! This is what stemmed the clothing side of my business. I balance prices based on cost + labour + shipping to bring affordable clothing to anyone who wants it! I also love doing commissions and spawning original ideas!

This is now my full-time job and I dedicate myself entirely to my business. I hope to make 2018 even more special with more designs, more items, and more cool work!!

Returns and exchange details
You may cancel your order for a full refund up to 48 hours after purchase. Once 48 hours have past you can no longer cancel your order as the order will have been started.
Commissions are started immediately and once paid for cannot be refunded.

Sept 2020 - shipping can still on the odd package be inconsistent or slow. Please understand this is due to the pandemic and shipping companies in general, not us.

FED EX SHIPPING – items are often delivered within 3-6weeks from ordering them with FED EX. Please still tell me of a deadline if you have one to make sure it’ll arrive in time.

If you have a date/deadline you must tell me BEFORE you order, or when you order in the comments box so that I may contact you directly and find out if it's possible or not. If I’m not contacted of a deadline within 48 hours of your order, I may not be able to guarantee and cannot cancel for a refund if it can’t arrive on time. Simply marking an item as a “gift” is not enough, I need to be told the deadline in advance or within 48 hours. If your event cancels, etc we are not responsible for refunding you.

European buyers: all clothing/jewelry/accessories you buy here are custom/made to order specifically personalized to you and your size and cannot be returned/fall under the return policy of EU law. Please be aware of this BEFORE you purchase from my shop, or ask when in doubt. The cancellation policy still holds and you can cancel your order up to 48 hours from purchase date.

If items are damaged during shipping (broken, stained, etc) please provide photos of damages within 72 hours of item being marked delivered. Full refunds will be given on broken items immediately while stained items a partial refund may be given or a full refund if item is sent back. Please contact for return item shipping information. After 72 hours of receiving items are in your care and your responsibility.

We do not accept exchanges for clothing. Please still contact us as we’re still clearing out some stock and we might have one in stock to exchange it with, but most clothing we don’t so please understand this prior to ordering. If we happen to luck out and have the item in our very minimal stock, buyer must pay return shipping and shipping for the new one to be sent out.

Any return fees on packages shipped with special carriers or within canada/from canada will also need to be covered if your package gets returned to me for no fault of my own (meaning you didn't pick it up, didn't pay customs on it, didn't have the correct address). Just like with the exchanges policy, if the item gets sent back you will have to pay any return fees and shipping again. I will not refund your order if it's returned to me and no agreement is made prior to that, period. If you do not reach me in within 2 months of items being sent back or returned to me, your item will be abandoned and you'll have to rebuy it. If I never get the item back then unfortunately you'll also have to rebuy it.

Unless otherwise stated above, Refunds will not be given. All my items are classified under custom/made to order and thus for the most part, materials/etc cannot be recovered. I am a small business not a chain store.

Customs/import taxes - I am not responsible for any customs/import taxes you may receive on your items. If you refuse to accept your item due to customs and it is shipped back to me, you will be required to pay shipping in full + an added fee to have the item shipped back. No refunds will be given. Customs/import taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.

When in doubt, message me and we'll work something out! You agree to all of this when you purchase from me.

UPDATE MARCH 2021 –while shipping seems to be mostly worked out, packages can still be subject to longer transit times and delays depending on the country. Please monitor your tracking closely, and if there hasn’t been any new updates to tracking in 2 months, contact us right away.

Made to order clothing - processing time - 3-6 weeks
shipping time for made to order clothing – 2 weeks – 2 months
Fed Ex shipping upgrade - 3-6 weeks including the processing time (Fed ex is much faster and highly recommended right now)
Only available for made to order clothing.

Clothing that says "in stock" in it's title - 2-14 days processing time
2-6 weeks shipping time anywhere in canada or USA
3-10 weeks shipping time anywhere else
5-20 weeks for australia

3d printed items/jewellery - 4-8 weeks processing time + shipping
handmade small jewellery like clay pieces - 1-3 weeks processing time + 5-10 weeks shipping as it's untracked, upgrade to tracking for a sooner arrival time.

These are rough estimates and are only extended due to the pandemic slowing mail down around the world exponentially. This is entirely outside our control, and why all made to order packages come with tracking. (some jewelry/etc may remain untracked so please read the listing carefully and upgrade to tracking if you’re concerned!)

Only clothing in stock, handmade jewellery, plushies will be shipped via Canadapost and shipping costs will remain the same as before on those items.

All made to order clothing items are tracked. Tracking link may have been sent to you as a message of your order so please check messages. if you didn't receive tracking or can’t find it, please contact me and I’ll send it over!

I am not responsible for shipping times, delays during the shipping process or items being held up by customs. I am also not responsible for custom fees.

UPDATE: I am not responsible for the packages being delivered, that's entirely the postal service used. If they will not cover the costs of re-making the items and re-shipping them, then any lost, stolen, or orders not received will need to be reordered. I can offer a discount on re-orders, or to re-make at cost, but unless the shipping company who is responsible pays for it to be re-made, there's not much else i can do.

All items are handled or made in a pet friendly home (dogs and cats) if you have allergies please express this concern immediately in a message or comments on check out!
Otherwise I cannot guarantee if my pet hair has come in contact with it (less issue with clothing but still a concern in general given I have 2 cats and 2 dogs). (this is only for anything that's coming from canada so everything but made to order clothing!)

Items may look slightly different from the photos online due to monitor settings, please be aware when you order.

heat sublimated dresses/leggings/clothing etc are polyester/spandex blend or a cotton blend (it'll specify in the item description). Clothing must be polyester (or a type of cotton) for sublimation to work. If you require a different material,i may be unable to assist you but you have to message me first.

Things like seams not lining up, colours being slightly off, clothing not fitting, not liking the "look" of it in person will not be refunded. keep this in mind.

What is the clothing creation process?

The process is called "dye sublimation" designs are dyed right into the fabric for a permanent look. Unlike vinyl or screen printing that sits on top of the fabric, this is fused right into the fabric materials.

This process is very expensive, so we outsource it to a manufacturer overseas. The quality is still high quality and we don't use just any company. We also still do all the patterning/design/creating work and the items are still handmade so slight errors can still occur.

We are extremely picky and only want the best affordable look for our clothing. Hoodies are double lined, thick, fleece on the inside, and so on. We are not cheap quality.

Care instructions

For best results and to preserve colours longer, wash in cold water inside out and hang to dry. You can throw clothing in the dryer, but heat can make the colours fade over time like any garment.

Be careful leaving clothing out in the sun for long periods of time because the sun can bleach or cause fabrics to fade overtime.

Hoodies/shirts/etc - any clothing that is offered in both mens and ladies sizing, becareful on fit! Ladies sizes tend to run smaller and more "curved" to fit while men sizing tends to be more loose fitting.

If you're tall or longer arms, etc please order a size up. Garments are made to an average height scale. When in doubt, ask before assuming!

Polyester doesn't shrink in the wash. Tshirts are cotton so be careful

Custom and personalised orders

We take commissions on anything! Clothing, jewellery, you name it! We love doing designs we've never done before, or even designs on different patterns.

To date we have over 200 patterns of clothing we can work with varying in style and haven't even grazed the surface yet so definitely send us a message if you'd like something custom you don't see here!

(depending on complexity or doing a new design/piece from scratch, commissions may be subject to a design/extra labour fee.)

Please contact us first! Our policies are above but we may be able to work with you. We try to reply within 72 hours to a week, if we missed your message please send a follow up one.

The business is run with Michy and my husband Jeff. Just the two of us.

We also have several partners for manufacturing:
- our clothing manufacturer overseas
- shapeways - helps us create 3D items in metal/etc

However also on site we have 5 3d printers for everything plastic, CNC machine for details in wood, resin for molds, Embroidery and Sewing machine and more!

What is the quality like?

Hoodies are very high quality: thick polyester with a soft fleece feel inside, double lined hood and strong will last you.

dresses and leggings are made out of polyester/spandex blend so they are stretchy but also breathable and light. Overly white garments can be see through so layer up just in case.

Shirts are cotton/polyester blend - they are soft and breathable.

Some loose threads may be scattered around your garment. This happens. They try to be inspected thoroughly but can miss this.

We try to keep costs down but will not reduce costs if it sacrifices quality. We are about quality first. Pricing reflects that.


I'm extending this portion of my policies due to issues in the past.

I m not responsible for deadlines not presented too me at time of order or within 48 hours of order regardless if the deadline is a few weeks or months away. If I don't know about it, I can't guarantee it at all.

Even if i say it's a good shot or it should be, i am not responsible for delays outside my control like customs, world disasters (virus spreading, flooding, tornadoes, etc), etc. please understand this moving forward. I do my best to get things out and to people in a timely manner, but i cannot guarantee deadlines, especially ones i'm not told prior.

Please be understanding and patient! I will do my best for you. When in doubt, upgrade to fed ex rush.

Sizing, Colour and exchanges on clothing

I do not offer refunds or exchanges on sizes not fitting or colours slightly differing. It's super important you read the size chart carefully, measure yourself, and pick a garment that fits your measurements or when in doubt, contact me before you order!.

All clothing is made to order, so i don't have any stock (maybe the odd piece that i bring in for display at shows. you can contact me but there's no guarantee). So if the item doesn't fit you'll have to re-order and you're welcome to re-sell the one that doesn't fit.

Please respect this. I'm not a big clothing giant but a small business. Ask me before you order if you're worried about sizing

My shipping is taking forever or my package hasn't moved in awhile is that normal?

Unfortunately right now, yes. Due to the pandemic shipping has becoming incredibly slow especially regular shipping or anything untracked.

If you're ordering any clothing right now and want it within 1-2 months of ordering it, I would highly recommend you upgrade to FED EX SHIPPING. Otherwise the processing time + shipping times are really slow and sadly nothing I can do until Hong Kong post resumes Airmail/Airlines to most countries.

Please understand this when ordering. And please have a heart as there really is nothing I can do about shipping and once your item is shipped, there's no way to get any money back from it. It's made and on it's way, you'll just get it slower then normal right now. I am very sorry

Where are you based from?

I'm located in Ontario, Canada actually. Everything i sell I either make myself or design myself.

For made to order clothing, i design it all send it to my manufacturer and ship directly from them so they ship from either Hong kong or China post. This is to speed up orders being received in time but are still all my designs.

For in stock clothing, plushies, jewellery, etc they are shipped directly from me in ontario canada. I have updated shipping to reflect this so you see exactly where it's coming from to avoid confusion.
