Unique ceramics that make you :)

As I grow older, I learn that I know very little. That's great because I like to return my childhood when playing dominated the majority of my day. Clay allows me to play and explore forms and texture. The process is the most important part in the discovery. A part of me goes into every piece. When someone picks up one of my pieces with a smile and adoration, that's when I know I have achieved my goal.

Bailey serves as an inspiration to me and like every dog owner, we think our dog is the cutest. In this case, I am 100% justified. He is captured in sleep, sitting, and yoga poses in my ceramics.

Welcome to my shop - feel free to explore. ;)

Hi and welcome to Bailey Bowls where I make all kinds of whimsical objects and utilitarian pieces with clay. Bailey is my dog and he inspires a lot of my pieces. My other popular line is my berry bowls. They make great gifts. I know coz all of my friends have one. :D

As with all things made by hand individually, there will be little nuances that appear during the throwing, glazing and firing process. If I was a machine, pieces would all come up perfectly but alas, I am human and therefore all pieces will be unique with a sense that it came from human hands.

My approach is to create my vision. Some of my items start with a simple sketch, others are impromptu as I am working with the clay. Each piece takes about 3 weeks to complete. Ceramics test my patience. :)

Returns and exchanges
Please let me know if your purchase arrive damaged. If you are dissatisfied in any way about the items you've purchased within the first week, please convo me.
Purchases that are not paid within 3 days will be canceled and item will be re-listed. :)
My shipping days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I take great care in packaging each piece to ensure that they arrive intact. A tracking number will be provided via email once the package is shipped. Please feel free to convo me for further details.

I wish shipping fees weren't so expensive but the Post Office charges by weight an distance and pottery can be pretty heavy. Well… heavier than jewelry. I make no money off of the shipping fees that I list; it all goes directly to USPS.

More often than not, combined shipping of items will be less than what the calculated shipping reports. I will refund any excess shipping fees.
Additional policies and FAQs
My pieces are all labor intensive so I am unable to discount beyond the listing price for wholesale.
