Welcome to the Etsy home of Banana Moon Studio. I am April Garwood, the owner and designer of Banana Moon Studio. Please visit my blog to find my free crochet and knitting patterns: http://bananamoonstudio.blogspot.com. My Etsy shop is where you can find all of my paid patterns.

When I design patterns and produce crochet items, I use luxury, high-quality yarns. I might, on occasion, design or produce something in a basic acrylic yarn, but these would only be items that are not worn against the skin, and for which "easy-care" is highly desirable. The yarn brand and type will always be stated in item descriptions, so that you know exactly what you are getting.

Some of my designs have been published in Interweave Crochet, Crochet!, Love of Crochet, I Like Crochet, and Crochet Today! magazines. I have also designed patterns for Coats & Clark, Cascade Yarns, and Ancient Arts Yarns. You can see a gallery of my work on my Ravelry designer page: http://ravelry.com/designers/april-garwood

I welcome you to my Studio's shop, and hope that you find something you love!

I thank you for your business!
April

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
I don't accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
.pdf Patterns - If you are having a problem with a .pdf pattern, please convo me with the details and I will be happy to help you with it. However, since I could not be sure that you were actually erasing the pattern from your computer and any other digital storage devices, I do not provide refunds or exchanges for patterns.
Payment
I accept Paypal and credit cards. This makes it easy on me, and secure for you.

Please provide payment within 48 hours of your purchase. If you are not able to do so, then convo me with an explanation. If this requirement is not met, I will cancel the sale and make the item available for someone else.

I collect 7% sales tax from residents of Oklahoma, USA.
Shipping
All of my for sale items are PDF files of crochet and knitting patterns. When you complete your purchase, Etsy will automatically give you a link to download the pattern. Download it to your computer or device. You can print it from your computer if you desire a hard copy.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please keep in mind when purchasing .pdf patterns, hard copy patterns, or kits that these patterns are protected by copyright laws. This means that you are permitted to make hard copy patterns (i.e. print the file) for your own use. You can even let friends borrow that hard copy from you, as long as you, or they, do not make an additional copy for them to keep. It is against the law, and a really crummy thing to do to me, to make copies for others, either digital or paper. This also means that it is against the law, and also a really crummy thing to do to me, for you to put a copy of the pattern on the internet somewhere, such as your blog, Facebook notes, personal website, etc. Please treat me the way you would like to be treated and do not steal my intelectual property.

Also, my patterns and products are not intended for your commerical use, or anyone else's. In other words, I do not grant anyone permission to distribute my patterns to anyone else. The copy you purchase is just for you.
Privacy
A note about privacy: I will see information about you when you purchase from my shop, including your name, address, and email address. I will receive an email about the transaction from Etsy, and if you use PayPal, from PayPal also. I don't have any control over how your information is stored on those sites, so please refer to their Privacy Policies for that information. I do not keep a list of your information anywhere else. I do not save your information or add it to any database. I do not give your information to anyone else. I use gmail for my email server, and I delete old emails after about 2 years. I do have a twice-monthly e-newsletter to which you are very welcome to subscribe (which you can do by clicking this link: http://eepurl.com/b-Fl5T), but you will not be automatically added to that list just by making a purchase.
