Announcement   Welcome back!

Many thanks to all of my wonderful customers! Thank you for the orders and the patience!

I will be listing some more wonderful new threads by next month! Please be sure to check back in to see many real 14K gold and real silver threads as well as some wonderful new metallics which will add to your woven textiles!

The 14K Gold and Silver threads were made from 1970 through 1985, during the Showa era, in Nishijin District in Kyoto. Some of the finest threads are made there.
These are held in the highest regard in Japan. These threads are really gorgeous in look and feel. Any textile project would be enhanced greatly with the use of even a small amount of these real gold and silver foil threads.

I patronize Etsy artists, and encourage you do do so as well.

I require payment of all shipping and insurance charges prior to shipping, as I have unfortunately shipped items and the buyers have not paid when extra shipping costs arise due to insurance or postage hikes.

Also, please realize that putting an item on RESERVE for you is with the understanding you are going to purchase it in a reasonable amount of time. I put items on reserve for 3 days only. If it is not purchased and paid for, I will remove the reservation.

I also contribute to charities as a result of income from Etsy. I contribute to Heifer, Americares and Unicef, among others. A new charity for last year was FINCA, which grants loans to women in underprivileged areas of the world to start businesses . I also donate to several Veteran charities. Thank you all for helping!

Feel free to convo me with any questions or if I can provide any help!

***
I do have limited amounts of some of my older threads. I really appreciate the great response I've had. I knew when I found it that this thread was a real winner! Thankfully, I have been fortunate to find some replacement threads, but even better is that I found some wonderful new additions to my inventory! There is very little chance of replacement for these threads, so get them while you can!

Shipping will continue at once a week, though sometimes it goes twice a week!

If you have special deadlines, please convo me and I will do my best to accommodate you.

Buy handmade! Buy USA!

I love vintage, and the stampings and other findings I carry add such a wonderful feel to any jewelry. I can not wear base metal! Therefore, I stay with 925 Sterling Silver and 14K gold filled earwires, pins and some other components, as well as necklace closures! BUT, I am mixing metals in the other decorative components. Convo me for changes to ear wires and I will be able to accommodate you.

Many of my pieces will remain one of a kind.

Please note that vintage and antique items may have flaws, dents, scratches, marks, stains, spots, pulls, fading, soil, holes or pinholes or other imperfections, which are a part of the intrigue of being an owner of these types of items!

I guarantee that my vintage and antique items are authentic.

Convo me for alterations in length, size, color, etc. I can do limited reproductions of some of my items. I am not a machine, and can not produce hundreds!

Welcome!

My shop continues to evolve! I have lots of vintage items and have been putting more of them into the inventory. I love vintage - all kinds, unfortunately :)..?? or perhaps not?.. Convo me if you are looking for linens, lace and all things Victorian because I have them! I just haven't listed many yet.

I also create items from vintage Japanese silk kimonos and cotton yukatas. Other items I use are vintage, as well as contemporary cottons, along with other fabrics, which I will always identify for you, as well as appropriate care of the item.

I began my shop by listing jewelry items I have made. I have begun adding a few new line items and I have more on the way. Keep watching for new additions!

I use commercial quality semi-precious stones, quartz, naturally occurring minerals, along with Japanese beads, Swarovsky crystals (primarily vintage), freshwater pearls, vintage faux pearls, and Czeckoslovakian beads, crystals, cut glass and other glass beads. These are strung on softflex or similar covered wire, sterling silver and gold filled findings, including crimp beads.

Your request for multiple items will result in my creating a listing for you automatically. In order for me to do this, you need to tell me the specific items (and number/yardage, if applicable) you want. Then, you must make your purchase within 5 days or I will undo the listing! I'm very happy to do a special listing, so just let me know!

You can convo me if you want to see my EBAY feedback. I am currently not using EBAY, as I prefer Etsy. I have sold many vintage items on EBAY (and made a few purchases. . . ).

I try to be very specific about my listings, but feel free to contact me should you have
any questions.

I'm happy to custom make something, so if that is your requirement, please don't be shy.

Payment
I offer Paypal for your convenience.

I prefer check or money order, but realize the wait
of up to 7 business days may not meet your immediate needs!

Please notify me within 3 days of payment method. No holding of items beyond 7 days.

Payment should be completed within 7 days of purchase.

Thank you!
Shipping
I ship only once weekly, typically either Friday or Saturday. Please convo me if you require something shipped by a due date. Thanks for your understanding!

I normally use USPS. IF YOU REQUIRE SPECIAL SHIPPING - EXPEDITED, please let me know PRIOR to your purchase. I will update the shipping cost for you. I sometimes charge a small handling fee for packaging, and for international shipping, as I must travel to a post office further away.

If you are interested in scrapbook shipping, consider adding pages. I can ship 5 pages to Europe for $5.50. The envelope and padding make the first page more expensive, but additional pages bring down the cost for you.

I can ship First Class to France (and probably most of Europe) for one small textile item for about $3.50. More than that and the price does go up quite a lot, due to new postal regulations and rate hikes.

Because of shipping increases, my minimum shipping fee will be $2.00 for any item. This does not include the packaging. Canadian minimum shipping is $3.50.

Due to the high postal rates, all books or printed materials will now be sent via media mail. I have increased shipping charges on some recently listed books. Please allow for extra delivery time for all printed materials! Thank you for your understanding!

If my shipping estimate for items is over by more than $1, I will refund the difference! I do add a small handling fee to cover envelopes or other shipping materials, labels, and travel to the city post office especially for international mail, which can not be processed at our tiny substation.

Consider insurance for items over $50. (About $2.00). Required for $100 or over. Delivery confirmation or certified mail is $2.00. I ship all items over $99 with certified mail, the cost of which is included in the shipping/handling at listingl.

International purchases? Please convo me to determine shipping options and fees.
Refunds and Exchanges
I accept returns of items in original, undamaged, unworn condition within 10 days of your receipt. Please notify me that you are returning an item so that I may be expecting it in the mail.

No refund of shipping costs.
Additional policies and FAQs
If you find I have grossly misstated an item, please contact me. I want happy customers,
and we should be able to resolve the situation amicably.

I am happy to discuss special orders. Please convo me.
