    In search of craftsmanship

    Since my childhood I've done manual work. I have always liked to cut, saw, paste... I went to the Higher School of Design and Arts "Llotja" in Barcelona to study Advertising Graphics but over time this profession has been computerized and digitized a lot and has lost all the charm of handmade things.

    One day walking around the island of Formentera and its craft market I went through my mind the idea that I could also make jewels like those. And after a period of learning about Artistic Jewelery also in la Llotja, I started designing and making jewelry.

    I like minimalism, black and white, suddenly a point of color, all handmade, natural, simple ... less is more. That's the way my jewels are and so I created Baona, a brand born between Barcelona and Badalona.
