bapsicrafts' Shop Policies

Welcome

Thanks for stopping by my shop!

I believe my designs and products should honor the centuries-old art of knitting, as well as the individuality of the person creating and wearing it.
This is why I design each pattern myself, and knit them by hand with great love and attention to detail. Through Bapsicrafts, I breathe a soul and a story into each of the handcrafted knits that make up parts of your daily life.

Payment

Paypal payments and cards directly through Etsy are accepted. I'll get to knitting and/or shipping your item to you as soon as payment is received.

Shipping

Ready to ship items will be mailed as soon as possible, typically within 1-3 days of payment excluding weekends and certain holidays. If any temporary changes to this shipping schedule are made, I'll post them in the announcement section at the shop front.
I will use usps first class or priority mail for all of my shipments, and will provide delivery confirmation with every u.s. order when possible.

A package sent from me in California can take anywhere from 2-6 weeks to most locations worldwide.

As much as I'd love to, I can't hand deliver your knits as I'm not the USPS! I do everything I can to make sure your knits make it to you safe and sound, but I can't be held responsible for orders that were lost by the postal service. You can make sure your package doesn't get lost by asking for insurance!

Duty/Import taxes are the responsibility of the customer. I can't send your knits as 'gift', as it's simply illegal to do so.

Need your item to arrive sooner? Convo me and we'll work something out!
I'll be more than happy to work with you to calculate your new price for any shipping upgrades.

This almost never happens, but just in case:
If your order didn't arrive within the reasonable amount of time I listed above, don't hesitate to drop me a convo here on Etsy! If you have any issues with how your package was handled by the postal service, take a photo, and let me know! In both cases, I'll make a case with the USPS to try to sort things out!

Refunds and Exchanges

Please be sure to contact me if you have a problem with your order so I can try to help!

Refunds and returns, however are only considered under special circumstances.

Shipping costs are nonrefundable, as that money went to the USPS for their service. Please note that a 10% restocking fee will be applied to your refunded items.

If your item was made to order, a completely custom commission, discounted, or was purchased during a sale, returns or refunds can't be accepted.

Additional Policies and FAQs

Above all other things I love custom orders. convo me to see what we can create together!

Your custom requests for my designs in your yarn of choice are more than welcome. Just send me a message for what kind of weight to look for or how much yarn to purchase, and I'll help you every step of the way.

After you've made your custom please allow up to 3 weeks(or the specified turn-around time) for your made-to-order piece to be ready to ship.
Some yarns will need to be ordered before I can start knitting, and my suppliers will need a little time to sent the yarn to my home.

if you're happy with your order, don't hesitate to leave some positive feedback for my shop! i spend a lot of time managing this little shop and making your items, and it relies on customer satisfaction more than anything else.

if anything goes wrong with your experience, let me know in a convo so I can do what I can to make it right. i want to make sure your shopping with me is a simple and pleasant experience!

Before shipment, all items in my shop are carefully hand washed, especially the one of a kind items that had to be modeled for listing photographs. I use handmade soaps by fellow artisan sellers living in the US.
Curious about the soaps I use? Feel free to ask!
Or browse my blog at http://blog.bapsicrafts.com, where I regularly share the care and attention I put into Bapsicrafts knits.

Please bear in mind that while I do my best to make sure the colors in my photos are accurate, they may vary from screen to screen.
You are welcome to ask for small samples of yarn colors of your choice for made-to-order items with your order, for no charge.

All pieces are knit with great care in a smoke-free home. I have a puppy, but he loves the outdoors and never enters my workspace.
