Announcement   I love color, but also love "rustic," which makes torch-fired enamel the perfect complement to fabricated metal and lost wax cast sterling pieces. Keum Boo, which is fused 24 kt. gold, is added as accents to oxidized sterling silver.

About your investment ... Enamel, which is glass on metal, never fades and will remain as beautiful as the day you purchased it. Maintenance is easy. To clean, simply wipe it with a soft cloth. To prevent chipping, protect the edges by carefully storing it and remember not to drop it on a cement floor! :-)

My book, "Torch-Fired Enamel Jewelry: a Workshop in Painting with Fire," named Best Craft Book of 2011 at Amazon, demonstrates the unique, patented immersion process used to create my work. "Mastering Torch-Fired Enameling: the Next Steps in Painting with Fire" embraces color and surface decoration. If you'd like to learn more about the process, please visit me at www.torchfiredenameljewelry.com. You can also buy enameling supplies at www.etsy.com/paintingwithfire or www.paintingwithfirestudio.com.

You can also stop and visit me in midtown St. Petersburg at Painting with Fire Studio, 2428 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg, FL 33712 (727) 498-6409 where we sell supplies, offer workshops in our state-of-the-art flameworking studio, and sell my jewelry.

Welcome to Barbara Lewis, Torch-Fired Enamel Jewelry. I create in a studio/gallery in midtown St. Petersburg, FL where I have a state-of-the-art flameworking studio. If you're in the area, please stop in and say hello. We love visitors and will gladly give you a torch-firing demo!

Most of my pieces feature torch-fired enamel, which lends itself to beautiful color AND permanence. My goal for each piece is to fabricate as much of it as possible, including the chain, earwires, jump rings, etc., which will be indicated at the item listing.

Please feel free to contact me regarding any questions you may have about my policies. You may contact me through my etsy shop or by phone at (727) 498-6409.

The following business policies are suggested so that you can enjoy your purchases and I can continue creating!

Accepted payment methods

  • Pay with Visa
  • Pay with Master Card
  • Pay with American Express
  • Pay with Discover
  • Pay with PayPal
  • Money Order
  • Check
Payment
Payment is possible by credit card or Paypal within 3 days of purchase. If you prefer to pay by check, unless I know you personally, I will wait for the check to clear before shipping. I request that if you change your mind about your purchase, please cancel your order within 12 hours. I ship as quickly as possible and if you wait longer than 12 hours, it's possible that your order is already in the mail. All shipping occurs after payment is confirmed.
Shipping
Shipping primarily will be by USPS, unless the customer prefers another carrier. A confirmation email will be sent when your item is shipped. The good thing is that I PRIDE myself on fast shipping! In the case of free shipping, I will happily upgrade shipping to Priority Mail if multiple purchases are made, just communicate with me.
Refunds and Exchanges
My desire is that you love my work. However, if a piece is defective or not as expected, please inform me within 7 days, In the case of a repair, I will be responsible for shipping costs to and from. When jewelry becomes damaged through wear and tear, I will be happy to attempt a repair if possible. Shipping and repairs costs will be the responsibility of the customer. Please remember, by definition, enamel is "glass on metal," which makes it somewhat fragile by its very nature.
Additional policies and FAQs
I welcome custom orders and will gladly incorporate found objects or sea glass of sentiment into the piece. For inspiration, please check the feedback section of my shop for sold pieces. If you see something you like, chances are it can be recreated! Even when pieces are recreated, each one is unique because of the uniqueness of torch-fired enamel. Nothing is mass produced and each piece will be kissed by the flame in its own way.
