About

In love with fiber!

I have been weaving and selling in North Country (New York State) shops and galleries for 24 years and dyeing threads and fabric since the early 70s. I am totally in love with warps, wefts, textiles and their endless possibilities.

Update: December 11, 2009 I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. January 6, 2010, I had the Whipple procedure and finished chemotherapy in September, 2010. The cancer was stage II and didn't involve the lymph nodes or surrounding organs. In May of 2016 I had an aortic valve replaced and they found a spot on my lungs. In February 2017 I had the upper right lobe of my lung removed and it turned out to be pancreatic cancer again. I am now stage 4. However I am feeling fine, riding my horse, travelling, weaving, and living my life! And every three months I get a CT scan. Here's hoping!

Shop policies

I hope to make your shopping experience enjoyable and I am committed to selling a finely made and beautiful product. I use a combination of my own hand dyed yarns with novelty threads to create my limited edition, original items. I use only high quality materials in my work. Handweaving can be delicate and should be handled and laundered gently. Care instructions will come with your item. Please be aware that threads can pull if caught on some types of jewelry though normally you can wiggle the thread back into the weave.
