How Roses for Mary came about
I am a mom of five, married to my husband of 10 years. I used to work as a nursing assistant--a job that I love--but due to some health problems over the past few years, I had to quit my job. I love being a stay at home mom and working on my hobby of clay! I have no previous training or experience with clay but I'm learning along the way. :-)
My "teachers" are my customers. I say this because it is from their ideas, suggestions and critique that I have come as far as I have. I've learned a lot from them and because of them, I've worked harder than ever to make my rosaries prettier, unique, and sturdier.
Making clay rosaries is not something I ever dreamed of doing but I'm glad that I have it; constructing a rosary together is my way of "getting away" from every day life, drama and problems of the world. Every rosary that I make has love in it; it's "mine" in a special way until someone else falls in love with it.
Someday, I hope to be able to go back to nursing assisting and helping others, but for now, it's my pleasure to share my clay rosaries for those who want them. :-)

Additional policies and FAQs
Q: "Can I add medals, crucifixes, charms,to my order?"
A: I'm happy to add a custom center or crucifix to your rosary, however, if I do not have that specific item on hand and need to order them, I do charge an extra $10 fee to cover those expenses.
Q: "Can I make bulk orders?"
A: In the past, bulk orders have ended badly for me. I end up being rushed and mistakes are made. Therefore, I prefer no more than three rosaries at a time. I will accept large orders that are spread out over time, with the customers understanding and patience that I need to work at my own pace without being rushed.
Q: "Can I contact you about the status of my order?"
A: I am very big on communication--the more information I have from you, the less mistakes will be made. So yes, feel free to check in any time that you want.
Q: Where is my order? Why is it taking so long?
A: Please understand that every bead and rose is made by hand, then baked, then assembled and then glazed. Each rosary takes about 2-3 days to make. The more complicated the rosary (specific colors, lots of roses, ect) the longer it will be. However, I do enjoy making custom orders so don't let this discourage you. Just please be patient. :-)
