Welcome to my shop! Please come inside and browse awhile...

Love these needles - so sad that they're not being made anymore. I've had carpal tunnel surgery and these needles are perfect for me. I thot I had a full set and then saw that I didn't. I was really glad to find this shop. They arrived quickly and well packaged. Thank you.
My days are spent working on my farm, caring for my flock of Lincoln X sheep and my Angora rabbits. Barn chores every morning and afternoon. Lambing. Shearing in the late spring. Bringing in hay in the summer.
Skirting, washing, and dyeing fleeces. Carding, blending, and hand spinning in the studio. Hard work? A labor of love. And if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life.

Additional policies and FAQs
For those not familiar with Lincoln Longwool sheep, here is a bit of information on the breed.
Lincoln fiber is lustrous, strong, and long, often 12 -15 inches growth in one year. Rams can weigh up to 300 lbs., ewes from 175 - 250 lbs. Although they are massive in size, they have docile, intelligent, and even mischievous personalities. Currently they are listed as an endangered breed.
The wool is supple, without kemp or undercoat, consisting of a single type of wool fiber. Although the lambswool can be relatively fine, the adult fiber is strong and stable, suitable for use where durability is more desirable than softness. Lincoln's durability makes it an excellent choice for knitted outerwear items, such as sweaters, hats, mittens, and even socks.
All of my yarns are washed in mild soap and blocked after spinning. My farm studio is smoke-free and pet-friendly, home to my cats, Fergus and LeRoy , as well as Chas,my fantastic, intelligent (and sometimes grumpy) Border Collie.
I really enjoy custom orders! Please contact me if you have something in mind...
