Announcement    Hello everyone-
For the next two weeks, I'll be listing only a few items, like pendants and orphans, as I'm finishing current orders. After these two catch-up weeks, my schedule will be back to normal. Please keep checking. If you have any questions or special requests, please feel free to contact me.
Thanks to all...I appreciate your support-
Happy New Year-

Creating beads that replicate Ancient Glass is what I love to do.
I also like to play with color, design and shape for more contemporary pieces. It's a joy for me to be able to combine two lifelong passions, glass and beads.

While attending UCLA, I saw an exhibit of ancient glass and, in that moment, knew my dream and goal...to create that ancient look with my own hands. When I moved to Oregon and learned to make glass beads, I experimented for two years and finally created a glass bead that looked like a piece of ancient glass excavated from an archaeological dig.

My Basha Beads usually have a matte finish for that ancient, organic and tribal look and feel. Even my contemporary beads which are beautifully bright and colorful, have a rustic look.

I consider myself a colorist and think of my beads as little pieces of abstract art.

Enjoy
