Shop Story

Hi there! I’m Amanda, the photographer behind the Basic Goodness Studio. Here, you’ll find my collection of original art photography. I specialize in landscapes, still life, and abstracts.

My journey as a photographer started years ago when I began taking photos at brand marketing events I organized early in my career. From there, I began taking photos at family events. And, now, I find myself inspired by the beauty of nature and everyday life.

I enjoy taking pictures of nature because nature brings me such a sense of peace and calmness in a busy world. But I’m also drawn to the beauty found in everyday life like the colorful layers of paint peeling off a wall, interesting architectural features on an otherwise boring building, the melancholy of an abandoned home. Over the years, I’ve generated an extensive collection of landscapes, stills, and abstract pics which led me to opening my Etsy shop - Basic Goodness Studio.
