NOT-SO-ORDINARY CZECH BEADS!
We strive to offer mostly the not-so-ordinary varieties. If you like Czech beads, we hope you will like what we have to offer - square tile, rectangle, coin, and other not-so-ordinary styles. Our collection of unusual coin beads with picasso- or bronze-edged finishes continues to grow.

CZECH GLASS SQUARE TILE AND RECTANGLE BEADS!
Not only do we sell not-so-ordinary Czech beads, but we personally love Czech tile and rectangle beads and have chosen to specialize in them. Our Czech glass stash of 9mm-11mm tile beads currently numbers at 50+ colors/varieties, including table cut, hurricane, gemstone colors, etc. and it continues to grow...........so if you like square Czech beads, we think you will enjoy shopping in our store......... :o) If you would like to see us carry the smaller 6mm currently being made, please let us know........You may notice some varieties (in lots of 15) are more expensive than others - that is because the supplier we buy them from asks for premium prices. If we can find those cheaper at another supplier, we will offer those at a lower price. We are always looking for new suppliers of these beads.

REGARDING PINK, FUCHSIA, OR RED CZECH BEADS: These colors of Czech beads are in high demand and are sometimes hard to find from suppliers, especially certain shades of pink. In addition to the high demand for this color, our suppliers tell us that red and pink dyes are more expensive in the manufacturing process because they use real gold in the dye to get the color. This fact makes all pink, fuchsia, and some red beads more expensive to purchase than the other colors. We are told that pink glass is getting harder and harder to find for manufacturing, and this fact will eventually be reflected in pink bead prices throughout the industry. In addition, we are told some manufacturers won't even use gold in their beads anymore because of the current high price of gold.

GLASS OPAL AND FAUX PEARL CABOCHONS!
We currently carry harlequin (also known as opal) glass and faux pearl cabochons. The glass opal cabs are made in Czechoslovakia or the Czech Republic. The current batch posted are oval in shape in several sizes. The pearl cabs are made of high quality plastic, made in Japan. We will carry more glass cabs as our ability to purchase them allows.

PEWTER AND BRASS BEADS AND FINDINGS!
We have lots of quality new pewter beads - toggle clasps, bali-style spacers and others. All will be sold at great prices. This is a very affordable alternative to sterling silver. We have also begun carrying American-made brass findings. Most are antiqued in our studio and sealed to prevent further tarnish.

QUALITY FRESHWATER PEARLS!
If you prefer top quality pearls with thick nacre for your high dollar creations, please check out our freshwater pearls. Our designers have bought pearls for our own creations for 9 years and we only buy the best. You will only receive AA or AAA quality pearls when you buy them from us.

QUALITY GEMSTONES!
All of our gemstones are hand-picked by us to assure quality. We try to describe any flaws in our gemstones as best as possible.

IMPORTANT INFO FOR OUR INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS -First Class International Shipping rates are high, even for lightweight items. We promise our international customers.........if you purchase something from us and pay more than your actual shipping charge, we will refund the difference to you after your shipping label has printed.

Kindly please READ OUR SHOP POLICIES before purchasing.

Thank you to everyone for visiting our bead shop, and we look forward to serving you!!

The beads arrived very quickly. I thought from the picture that the color was "good enough," but it turns out to be a perfect match. I'm very pleased!

About

Jewelry Designer Gone Bead Seller

As owner of this shop, I started out making handmade jewelry and began selling it on Etsy, in my shop called The Bauble Shoppe (user ID baubleshoppe). I soon became addicted to beads. I had so many beads that I didn’t know what to do with all of them. Once I decided to begin selling beads, I opened up my second shop on Etsy, Bauble Shoppe Beads. I enjoyed selling my overstock so much that I began buying beads specifically for resale, and have been selling beads here for 7 years.

Not long after opening this shop, I soon discovered the wonders of Czech glass beads. There are thousands of combined styles and colors to choose from. I picked out some favorite shapes, styles, colors, and finishes and decided to specialize in Czech beads that are outside of the common fire-polished or druk categories, although I still carry some of those. I love the not so ordinary styles such as table cuts in tile, rectangle, coin, drop, cathedral, tri-cut, and any other shape in which table cuts come in. I also love the picasso or bronze finishes. I thrive on hunting for out of the ordinary beads, and it has been fun sharing them with my customers.

To add a variety to the mix, my shop also carries gemstones, freshwater pearls, pewter, and brass. All pearls and gemstones in my shop are bought in-person and are hand-picked by me to assure quality.

I sell only beads that I love, and hope my customers will love them, too. Thank you for your interest in my shop!
