Since I was little I dreamed of a cartoon, drawn by myself. I let that dream go for a while, started to make jewelry, and realised this wasn't the thing for me.

I learned to sew from my mom, she made a lot of clothes when my sister and I where young. It's in the blood I think. On my 25th birthday I got my own sewing machine from my parents. It was the perfect gift. They never thought it would be used that much!

On a night this little owl, I based my whole line on was created. I made up a little story in my head and found some cute little friends for him.

I want something special made with my illustrations so I started to draw/ paint on unbleached cotton and made some lovely pencilcases, printed some postcards, created a lovely owl pattern, and started this Etsy shop. At that moment BDDesigncrafts was born!
