I've been knitting since I was small, everything from mittens and socks to sweaters, scarves and blankets, but mostly hats recently. People need warm heads!

What is most interesting to me is the combining of different fibers, textures and colors, and the three dimensionality building of knit hats - stitch by stitch. Mohair, wool, alpaca, merino wool, silk and cashmere each have a specific texture, drape and sheen. Combinations get more complicated and challenging (and rewarding when they work).

Beautiful fibers inspire the creation of beautiful things!

I find that each different combination of fibers and colors tends to suggest a stitch and shape in a hat. So each hat is a response to the materials chosen. Every hat is unique - what you see in the photo is the exact item you will receive, and once sold will never be re-made.

Everything I sell is designed by me, and I hand knit every item. My hats are well-made, finished inside and out, and durable.
