Hello! I’m Jess.

For me, working with my hands allows me to be present in the moment and quiet my mind. I can sit at my pottery wheel for hours and forget about the stresses of the outside world and just focus on transforming a lump of clay into something beautiful.

I was never very creative, always too preoccupied with other things. My pottery journey started a few years ago as a form of mindfulness. From that foundation, I have learnt to love the skill and care involved. There’s an almost childlike joy to playing with clay and getting your hands dirty. When you step back and look at what you have created there is an immense sense of achievement.

My pottery is crafted in my studio in the heart of the Brecon Beacons, Wales. Each piece is handmade from start to finish, whether it be thrown on the potters wheel or made from slabs of clay. When you purchase a piece of pottery from me, you do so knowing that you will receive something completely unique. There is nothing quite like the comfort of curling up in front of a fire and sipping a warming drink from a one-of-a-kind handmade mug.
