Beautiful, well-crafted sheep shuttle--not just for looks, practical and fun to weave with. I appreciate the small slot cut in one side to anchor the yarn, not found on commercial stick shuttles.

This artist has been such a joy to work with! She has also created a custom piece for me (something I know many Etsy sellers detest...). Attention to detail, along with a concern for customer satisfaction are important elements considered. My custom piece was a Massasauga rattler pick-up stick (for weaving); and OMGoodness--it looks real!! The artist sent photographs of her progress which was a bonus surprise-- The other items purchased are so lovely, and intended as gifts--which I shall be pleased to share with my friends.

About

Ajaia Ajaja - Original Art and Vintage Treasures

Life's an adventure... why not embellish it with amazing art and unusual vintage things?

But who am I? Well I live in a little cottage in the mountains. I am a bohemian artist who creates original artwork.

Custom beadwork - bead jewelry, custom beading on horse tack and dog collars
and I also bead on leather coats, bags, clothing and accessories.

Hand carved and custom designed "Wild Weavers' stick and band shuttles shaped like dragons, mermaids, foxes, sheep and lots of other fun animals that can be used for weaving on an inkle loom or for card or tablet weaving or to use on any small loom.

Needle felted animals, dogs, horses, possums, pigs and pet portraits...

Paintings in watercolor and acrylics - dog portraits, fish, dragons, horses, landscapes, wildlife... whatever moves me...

Old and amazing curiosities that are discovered spark my imagination and I will sometimes share them with you here...

Let the adventure begin!
