4 out of 5 starsThe quality of the necklace was very good. It looks well with the turtle neck shirts and sweaters that I have which met my expectations. I love Kazuri necklaces and have several. This one is different in that it also has crystals which make it unique.

The Beading Nutritionist - Since 2007
Welcome to my shop! I opened it in 2007 after encouragement from my friend Ann (suchprettycolors). At the time I did not own a digital camera. My friend Judy (beadbug) took beautiful pictures of some of my work. I posted them and then my shop was born. I know both Ann and Judy from The Sunday Artisan Market in Ann Arbor, MI where I used to live. I eventually purchased a digital camera and began taking my own photos. This allowed me to list as many pieces as I wanted. With the growth of my business some thought I needed a slogan. After a second customer suggested it, I began using "Jewelry that nourishes the soul". I gave the customer a discount on his purchase that day. You see, I am a PhD Nutritionist.
I am a perfectionist in my work as well as in my customer service. I very much enjoy making custom orders and do this quite often. All orders are shipped at no cost to the customer, in teal partially recycled paper boxes ready for gift giving to yourself or others. I list my items in color order. I think this pleases the eye. Also, it shows people that there may be other items that coordinate even though they are not part of a set. All sets are sold separately and the pieces either match or coordinate and are listed one after the other. Because the order of listings cannot be modified I often take longer to relist items as I need to make replacement or matching pieces and want them listed in the proper order. I almost never make the same piece twice but if a pair of earrings sells and I have a bracelet and necklace that match, I make a different pair of earrings to complete the set choices. I see my shop as a work of art in itself.
I hope you will enjoy seeing my work and even order when you are able. I welcome questions via Etsy convo. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this!

Owner, Maker, Designer
I began making jewelry at the age of ten. In high school I sold earrings on consignment and worked in a bead store. In 2004 I established my business and began selling at markets. Then, in 2007 I opened this Etsy shop.
Shop policies
I do my best to lower the environmental impact of shipping out my orders. Unless otherwise requested, all pieces are sent gift-boxed in my bright green partially recycled paper boxes along with a business card. When I can, I reuse padded envelopes. And, unless the customer requests one, I no longer include a printed Etsy receipt. I figure that the customer can view the electronic receipt on Etsy and save it to her/his computer when desired.
