Announcement   Hello, thank you for visiting my handmade lampwork beads shop!

I also invite you to "Like" my Facebook page (if you haven't already)! And be among the first to know of new Etsy listings and other ramblings ;) !! You can find it at:

www.facebook.com/beadsbystephanie

There is nothing I would rather be doing than melting glass and creating beads! All of the lampwork beads are created by me in my little studio in Adelaide and they are properly annealed in my digitally controlled kiln to ensure strength and durabilty.

If you are new to buying lampwork beads, SRA = stands for Self Representing Artist. You will find it in listings of beads handcrafted by glass artists who represent their OWN work. That way you know you are buying a unique handcrafted lampwork bead that is not mass produced in some low paying factory and exported in mass quantities to other countries.

I am SRA Member No. G-89.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or requests. :)

If you are interested in TUITION (I am in the northern Adelaide suburbs), please see my website: www.stephaniegoughdesigns.com

This is the new home of Finishing Touch Jewels - (check out my other Etsy shop www.finishingtouchjewels.etsy.com for my feedback and sold items).

About

It's simple - I just love making beads!

I discovered lampwork beads when I was designing and making my own jewellery, so I originally started out making beads for use in my own creations. Although the major part of my business is now making beads for jewellery makers to use in their own designs, I also really love to make jewellery too.

Lampworking has quickly become an obsession, there are so many colours of glass available, each with their own properties and peculiarities. They can be combined, swirled and layered over each other to get some very interesting colours and effects. There is always something new happening, new glass available, new techniques to learn - there is no chance of ever getting bored with it!!

I am now able to offer lampwork bead making tuition for those in the Adelaide area - see my website for further details (click link down on the right)!

Shipping
I care very much about my beads arriving safely to you and to that end, I ship my beads, well protected, wrapped and in boxes/padded envelopes..

I am located in Australia so please allow time for your purchase to arrive. I find delivery times vary greatly, I have shipped to the US and they have arrived in 4 days, and then the same destination took 3 weeks, it's so difficult to estimate.

Also amazingly, I shipped a bead to a lady in the UK, and on the same day posted a bead to Queensland, Australia - the UK bead arrived first!!! The world's postal system is a law unto itself ;)

However, sometimes because of routing issues and customs, please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying. Customs fees are normally charged by the shipping company or collected when you pick the item up. These fees are not additional shipping charges. I will not put "gift" or a lower amount of value on customs forms. Doing that is against U.S. and international laws.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you are unhappy with your purchase, returns will be accepted provided it is returned within 10 days of receiving it, and that it has not been used and is returned in its original packaging. Returns are refunded less cost of postage.
