These were outstanding and so beautiful. I got so many compliments! AND what a neat idea for presents that will last forever! Thanks for working with me to make each one special for our guests! Here is a picture, if you still have my email, I can send you to my shutterfly so you can see more pictures if you'd like to have them for ads. Thanks again!

Welcome to my store. French beading is a craft that has been around for centuries. Long ago, European peasants would collect discarded glass beads (beads considered not worthy of adorning royal attire). They would then string them on wire and create flowers. These flowers eventually made their way into weddings and during the Victorian Era, french beaded flowers became very popular in the form of mourning wreaths that were used as a sign of tribute when one passed away.

When french beading, tiny seed beads are strung on wire and are then wrapped in different forms around one another. This creates one particular part of the flower (petal, leaf, stamen, etc.). These pieces are then combined and secured together to create each flower.

What you see in my store (check out my sold items) is just the TIP of the iceberg when it comes to beaded flowers. If you have something in mind that you don't see in my store, please don't hesitate to contact me. Almost any flower can be made in beaded form. I will be very honest with you about your requests. If I don’t feel I can make a good beaded representation of the flower in question, I will let you know.
