The heart arrived and its quite a work of art Very well woven and the perfect size, not too big but not too small either. Very pretty. It took a long time to arrive but I know how the mail can be coming from Europe. Glad to see it arrive.

This necklace is exactly how it looks in the photo. It's really nicely made and packaged with instructions on how to look after it. It was a little treat for myself as I'm a January gal. Oh p.s. nice size as well, fits perfectly on the neck (not too high I mean)
Mad about beads and proud of it ...
I consider it most likely that you came here from my shop and wanted to know more details about me and what I do. So you have already seen that I design and make pieces of beadwork - this is how it started.
My fascination for these sometimes quite annoying little pieces of glass started when I stayed at home after having my son in 2007. I went into a craft shop, hoping to find something to do with my hands and time. They had seed beads and some free instructions to make a beadwoven necklace. People that know me can confirm that I usually jump right in with both feet and my way of thinking is "How hard can it be?", so I took the instruction leaflet and bought the needed beads ...
Since then I have bought many more beads, hoarded many more jewellery findings and collected all sorts of objects that seem interesting and worth keeping, until I have worked out how to incorporate them into my beadwork.
Often the inspiration for new pieces comes straight from the colour or shape of these objects. On other occasions it is colours I see all around me and particularly the combinations of colours that trigger my imagination. Everything is down to shape and colour with me and I try to keep the lines clear, but always with an interesting twist.
This twist results often from the combination of techniques that I use. Bead crochet ropes with geometric beadwoven clasps or pendants made of upcycled metal objects - the bead crochet is a reoccurring theme in my shop, as it is a technique I love and never get tired of using.
Well, I hope you enjoyed this little excursion into the backstage area and please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any other questions regarding my work.
Owner, Maker, Designer, General Dogsbody
I was born and grew up in Germany where I completed an apprenticeship as Vehicle Electrician, gained a degree as Technical Author and met my British husband. We've lived in the UK for nearly 5 years, but have now returned home to Germany.
Every piece is made with love and effort, just as if it was for myself. That is actually how most items come about - as pieces I would like to wear. But I can't wear everything I make and that is why I started selling.
The jewellery I make is very wearable and fit for everyday use.
To make sure you can enjoy it for a very long time there are just a few things you should know about caring for the beadwork.
Store this piece in the gift box in comes in, a soft cloth bag, or wrapped in a soft cloth. This will prevent it from becoming tangled in other pieces of jewellery, which could possibly cause beads to crack or chip and any exposed threads to weaken or break.
Avoid Contact with Water and Chemicals
Never allow contact with chemicals like cleaning products etc.
Try to avoid letting it come into contact with perfume, make-up, shampoo, soap and the like. When you get ready, your jewellery should be the last thing you put on.
Do not wear this jewellery in the shower or when swimming and avoid getting it wet.
All the above can weaken and damage the thread and the beads. It can also cause some beads that are coated or surface dyed to run, loose their colour or sparkle.
Avoid the Extremes
Avoid exposing this jewellery to intense heat, moisture and sunlight. All of these things can cause even the highest quality beads to fade, tarnish or maybe crack.
If you want to display your jewellery, make sure that it is out of direct sunlight.
We do have a dog, but it's fairly lazy and doesn't help with the business.
We are a smoke-free household.
As the colours are displayed depending on screen-settings and screen, they might vary slightly on the actual piece.

Returns and exchange details
Please note that earrings are - for hygiene reasons - excluded from returns.
If it is a case of "I don't like it. / I have changed my mind." the item must be returned straight away (within 21 days of arrival) at your cost. It must be in the original packaging and must not be worn! You will get the refund (inc. the original P&P if applicable) once I have received the item.
It is advised that you obtain proof of postage and insurance from the Post Office (or overseas equivalent), so you can put in a claim should the item not arrive at my end. I can not be held responsible for returned goods lost on the way.
If you are returning goods from overseas (i.e outside of the EU) you MUST clearly mark the package as "RETURNED GOODS". Failure to do so will unfortunately mean that any tax/customs charges payable on arrival back here will be deducted from the refund.

Ready made items will be posted within 2-3 working days after full payment has been received/cleared. Custom orders will naturally take a bit longer.
International buyers please be aware that you may have to pay customs charges or import duty on your items when they arrive in your country. Please contact your local customs office to check if it applies to you as you are responsible for the payment of these charges.
I try to recycle and reuse as much outer packaging as possible (padded envelopes etc.). Should you not wish to receive your item in such packaging - please let me know.
I am still updating shipping costs after our move from the UK to Germany and details on the available services will be posted here asap.
As all my items vary in size and value, I find it difficult to estimate the postage prices. If you were charged considerably more than I end up paying, the difference will be refunded.
