About

Printmaking, a living process

Printmaking is an ancient and magical technique that caught me a long time ago and I'm focused on keeping it alive. The beauty of a hand made print is not only the final image but also the long and delicate process behind it.

In this store you will find small-medium size handpulled intaglio prints. Every piece has been made with care, patience and skill. These are not computer or printer reproductions.

I have larger scale artwork available on my website and some other specialized web galleries. I would be very glad if you have the time to search for me on the net or contact me anytime if you want to know a little more about what printmaking is.

You can also subscribe to my quarterly newsletter for news about my work (I do not spam) and special coupon codes only for subscribers http://eepurl.com/bbl5yf

Thank you so much for your visit!

Payment
I prefer payments via PayPal (you can pay with any credit card and you don't need to have a PayPal account). If this is not an option for you, you can also submit a direct payment as offered by Etsy.
Shipping
Shipments are made within 1-3 working days after placing the order. If any important delay occur, I will communicate by email with the buyer explaining the situation.
Shipments are made via regular mail from Spain. Regular Spanish mail is a very reliable system but it does not provide a tracking number (certified or express mail would increase shipping costs more than double).
Deliveries in Europe could take 6 to 10 working days. To USA, America, Australia and Asia consider at least 3 weeks or 20 working days (times are approximate).
Any extra charges as duties or taxes upon arrival at the destination country shall be borne by the buyer (at the post office, I declare it as "gift", "card" or "photo", to avoid any extra duties for you).
Most of the work will be sent flat and carefully protected with tissue paper between cardboards and bubble wrap or bubble wrap envelope. Some bigger work will be sent carefully rolled on a cardboard tube***.
Refunds and Exchanges
Sorry, I can not accept returns.

Please ask me for more details about a work before submitting your order. I will be very glad to ask all your questions and send more pictures if necessary.

However, I will be responsible for losses or severe packaging damages by the mail. If this occur, I will be very glad to give you the choice of choosing another item, send it again (if copies are available) or a refund (via the chosen payment when placing the order).
Additional policies and FAQs
All work shown here is original hand-made work. Each piece is provided with its certificate of authenticity.

There may be slight variations in color due to the computer monitor type in which you see the work. For more detailed information about the colors and papers, as well as extra photographs, do not hesitate to contact me before purchase.
In some of my collages and paintings, you will find some spots or paintings marks on the back of the work, because of the spontaneous way they were created. Hand pulled prints are spotless on the back unless specified.
In the case of prints whose print run is greater than 1, it is natural to notice some kind of difference, as they are hand pulled printed. If you need extra pictures of a special print number, please let me know.
Works on paper are very sensitive to humidity and light, so I recommend storing them flat in a dry environment and/or display them away from a direct sun light exposure and make them frame by a professional.

***CARDBOARD TUBE: If you buy a large item, I will probably send it rolled on a cardboard tube. It is very important that you take it out very carefully immediately after arrival and place it flat under some pressure (with tissue paper on it). It will recover its flat shape in a couple of days. You can accelerate this process by placing it between slightly humid blotting paper sheets. Please contact me for further information.

***ON SALE ITEMS: each item on this section will have a description to tell you why I decided to put it on sale and make a big discount, I'm very honest about it (too much time in the shop, old work, not able to put in on an edition of prints because change of colors or very little defects on the paper). Despite some of these works may have a light defect, all work is in perfect shape and condition for you to frame it. They all look professionally hand-made as any other work in the shop.

Thank you very much for supporting my work!
