A Girl, a Pup, and a Plan...

As far back as I can remember, I’ve always loved creating (it may have something to do with my Mom being an artist/art teacher, so creativity was always encouraged in my house growing up).

I’ve also always had a love for planning. My first memory was in middle school when I got my first “big girl” planner – a simple, horizontal layout branded with all of our school colors and a giant Eagle plastered on the front (it was our school’s mascot). I loved that planner, and I always will because it is what I have to thank for introducing me to this fun and exciting world of planning. My fascination and love for planning only grew stronger as I made my way through high school, college, and into my career as a Public Relations and Marketing professional.

Aside from planning, I’ve also always loved to create – to be more specific, paper crafting has always been what I seem to find myself the most drawn to (scrapbooking/card making, etc.), although I really do love anything that gives me an excuse to grab a glue gun! When I discovered I could combine these two passions (planning and creating) through the use of stickers, I jumped in full force and never looked back.

I first began the process of opening my shop in 2015 – at which time I had a dog named Sprout and my mom had a dog named Bean. Together, they were BeanSprout (hence the shop name). Since then, Sprout has made his way to doggy heaven, but Bean is still alive and well with my mom. My new furbaby is Scoot, the absolute sweetest little bundle of joy I could ever ask for – he’s my shop’s mascot :) Since my shop is named after my dogs, I try to keep the theme present throughout it. You can see examples of this with my kit names – Alpha Kit (after an alpha dog, the biggest and the best) and the Runt kit (smaller than a normal kit, but just as great).

After a series of setbacks (life has a way of sneaking up on us sometimes!), I had to put my shop on hold for a few years but was able to officially open it on June 11, 2018 (ironically, that's also Scoot’s birthday!). It’s been a dream of mine for years now and I’m so thrilled to finally be able to share my creations with you! I hope you love everything and these stickers inspire you to begin (or continue) your own creative planning journey.
