Because reality is disappointing!
Bearded Maladies is the business incarnation of the work I make for my private art practice. Inspired by the talking animal stories of my childhood, I use vintage cabinet card portraits as a reference point to visualize an alternate reality where animals are the dominant species of the earth. I also occasionally do art inspired by the pop culture icons of my youth.
