5 out of 5 starsThis Women’s salve has magical powers!! I have used this for a couple of periods now and it has helped with every bad day. I rub this on my lower abdomen, heating pad if I have time and the salve does the rest, it’s amazing❤️💕

Creating herbal goods is a life long passion for us at Bear Earth Herbals, always changing and growing but never compromising quality.
As a young girl I always had an intense interest and passion for all things wild. Growing up in Northern Michigan next to hundreds of acres of state land, I spent most of my Summers in the forest, learning, growing and creating with the natural world. I collected plants and mashed them up with travel shampoos and lotions I found in my parent's cabinet, selling them door to door in our rural neighborhood as "massage lotions". Thankfully I don't think many of our neighbors actually tried them, but were happy to exchange a dollar or two for my latest endeavor. I have come a long ways since then and have refined my choice of ingredients, but I continue to live with a child like sense of curiosity and awe, always learning the mysterious ways of the plants. As a certified herbalist, mother, educator and forager, I incorporate health giving plants into the lives of myself and those around me on a daily basis. I strive to ever-widen this circle and spread the knowledge and gifts of the plant world to as many as I can, strengthening the bridge between humanity and the beings that sustain us.

Frequently asked questions
I noticed your topical products aren't as strongly scented as some other companies', do they still work as well?
Yes!! And they are much more safe for daily use, sensitive skin and children. We use large amounts of whole fresh herbs, cold infused for a minimum of two months. This is the base of all of our salves and creams, creating a very effective and deeply healing product. We use very small amounts of certified organic essential oils, about 1 drop or less per 1oz of product. We've had amazing feedback from many of our products and haven't had any complaints of irritation or overpowering scents. :)
Are all of your teas loose leaf? Do you ever sell them prepackaged?
Yes, all of our teas are loose leaf. We occasionally sell some individual tea bags as a promotion, but we are strong believers in loose leaf tea. We grow, harvest and process the herbs in small batches, and it is very important to us to retain as much flavor and potency as possible. The best way to do this is to hand process the herbs, with love and care, and not over crush them or break them down into a fine powder. We also slow cure our herbs, blend them carefully and enjoy the beauty that a well done tea blend has- so we like to show them off! We want you to see the quality of our teas, and to be able to identify the individual herbs. We also put a huge emphasis on environmental responsibility and love the sustainability of loose leaf.
