One day while gathering soda pop cans for the recycling center I thought of trying to make something with the pop tabs. I immediately thought of making a handbag. After many hours and attempts I was finally able to make my handbag which I still carry today and after receiving so many wonderful compliments I decided that I would research to create a store for others to enjoy my many creations. I feel fortunate to have found Etsy through a search and then began creating my store immediately.
I am self taught and I love what I do. Making a handbag out of soda pop tabs is very time consuming process but it's worth every minute when I hear someone tell me how happy they are with their one of a kind treasure. Each handbag is double lined for durability. I have sold more handbags through word of mouth, friends of friends, etc than on my Etsy shop. I am hoping that more people will find me here and learn about what I do. I feel good knowing that I'm recycling in a very unique way.
